1. Out of your productions whats your favourite ?
Hmmzz, that would be FTS :)

2. Outside of Holland which is the best country you have played in and
why ?
it's hard to mention just one, everywhere we go people go nuts!

3. What do you think of the UK hardstyle scene ?
it's still evolving, we notice we have more and more gigs over here, and the music is getting more and more poupular, wich is a good thing of course. We are glad people in the Uk are intrested in the harder dance music.

4. What do you feel about the change in hardstyle over the past year
into the more nu-style sound ?
it's good a lot of people try to make their own music, but the bad thing is a lot of productions sound the same.we feel like a lot of people just copy, and are not trying to innovate.
we are happy we really got our own style of music, we really have our own showtek sound.

5. In your opinion, How has music changed in the past 10 years or so?
are we going back to the early nineties production wise?
no that is not possible we think, it has changed in a good way, the quality of dance music is getting better and better, and the scene has become really proffesional. In the nineties people thought that dance music was just easy and strange music, nowadays its a respected and high quality , melodical type of music, not just a 4/4 beat kick and bass track, but a nice composed and produced piece of music, with sometimes great catchy vocals, or breathtaking melodies in it. In the nineties the dance music has started to make a world wide entrance, now it is up to us and others in the scene, to show what we are capable of and what we can do to keep it interesting.

6. Are you in the process of making any new tunes or albums ?
Yup, our last album was a great succes, and the next one will be even better:)

7. What have you got in store for the Bionic crowd ? Do you have any
new material that will be aired for 1st time at Bionic ?
We've got some new tunes, and every week we have new ones, so that wont be a problem.
We made a new vocal track which is very catchy we think, lets c how people respond over there when we play it:)

8. Where do you see yourselves in 10 years ?
Hard to say, we hope our music keeps expanding, and that the showtek sound will conquer only more domains.

9. Who has the most influence in Showtek tunes, Duro, Walt Jenssen or both ?
It's different, Showtek is a mix of the both of us, and every project stands for its own music style, we think all of our projects ar catchy, energetic and melodic , only in a different way. So it will be both:)

10. Do you play any other styles apart from hardstyle ?
yes we call it harder dance music now:)

11. If you were stuck in a lift, what dj(s) would you like to be stuck
in there with..and what ones WOULDN'T you like to be stuck in there with?

12. how did you think of the name showtek ?
The Show is from Sjoerd & Wouter, wich are our real names we combinen Sj and Wo into SJOW, wich turned to SHow and the tek stand for the tekno music we use to make:) we combined the Show and Tek to SHOWTEK!
