Subject
NEW EVO - DOOR TAX - HOW MUCH ???
This is a serious question and we need your answers.

Seems to us that there are a large number of dance events on a weekly basis throughout South Wales, obviously if you can get it in your village/town whatever, then why travel to Cardiff?

Seems to us that if we put three/four of these events in into Evolution on the same night then the evenings would be a moderate success because they all have there local followings, and as i have already said elsewhere, there appears to be at least 4 hardstyle/hard dance events this weekend alone, so there must be a market for it.

We know that we are entering a 'how long is a piece of string' territory here, but our question is this ..... if we expect to be open everyweek, and we want people to attend more than one event a month, then obviously door tax is going to be a factor .... so how much do you think a reasonable door tax is ?

£10ish is ideal but sometimes a bit more can be ok dep on the line up

i know £20 is a lot but i genuinely feel hardcore nights can justify these prices. When you consider there are 10-15 top names on a line-up its well worth it.

I appreciate they may not be that expensive (compared to some genres) and most are uk based so there are no flights etc to pay for but your still getting loads of dj's and producers at the top of the scene

that's well said, i agree for the hardcore events but i still think £20 is overpriced! £15 would be ideal

if it's good music with a famoous djs I can pay £ 20-50... but if it's going to be 20 for nthg so it's no point to go to EVO... there is cheaper clubs u can go to... oceana , revolution and etc....
