OUTSTANDING what more can i say
The 4th of July will be a day thats remembered for sometime to come. The Evolution Reunion was everything that it was hyped up to be. the best line-up, seeing the clubber's you aint seen for ages, the greatest tune's played on the deck's for 7 hour's, There was'nt so much decor but we had a reminder of Evolution with the room one and room two sign's. the lazers were quite cool. and the sound was immense. so what more could anyone expect from the night. The queue to get into the venue was huge even 20 minutes before it was due to open. it resembled the queue outside Evolution's original venue on new years eve 2008.

The DJ's who played the warm-up sets in both were GEE in room 1, And Luke Winds in room 2,

Gee played a funky house set 10pm - 11pm, while he was playing the 1st few track's the dancefloor seemed to be rammed, it seemed to me everyone wanted to make the most of the night and arrived early. even up on the balcony there was little room to walk around. Gee is a mad man on the deck's when he's not playing the deck's he's stomping around in the DJ box. He should be commited to a home for nutty DJ's, (only joking) The choice of tracks he played were cracking tunes and they were the biggest tune's back in the day Josh Wink - Higher State of Consciousness (2009 remix). and yet again another remixed version Dave Darnell - Children. GEE mixed the tracks so good. i did not hear 1 jump or mismatch of the beat's the next few tune's he played were Albin Myer's - Time's like these, DJ Yvan - adagio for string's. then GEE played the classic funky anthem from 96 Subliminal cut's v's Freemason's - Le Voie Solal. The opening set by was classicly composed by GEE, as i said already he played a blinder of a set.

It was time for me to go up to room 2 to see what was happening on the deck's here i saw quite a few familiar face's from the past were in there bally 'n' lanie mogz-e 'n' estee polston abyss valley houser to name but a few. Playing on the deck's was Luke Wind's played an aggresive techno set, i have seen Luke Wind's he played massive tech tune's on those deck's, the room was filling up nicely as he progressed throug his set. the clubber's were into what was being played on the deck's by Luke i would have said he played tech trance but Luke insisted that it was aggressive. He played some mean hard edged tune's these being Joseph Capriati - Sky Tech, Mak 'n' Tek - Aqua Andes, Flatulance - Disco Rocking, and as he neared the end of his set he played Tribal Vision - Spanish and Dusty Kid - Boogie Night's this is the second time i've seen him play he he played just as good as the 1st time i saw him. As i am always wandering from it was time for me to vacate room 2 and make my way downstairs to room 1.

In room 1 after GEE was another great player on the deck's JIM TC HONYWILL it's been sometime since i seen JIM play the deck's the last time was actually in Evolution on New Years Eve 2007/2008 as it happen's on that line-up was KRIS HILL aswell, Back to JIM TC HONYWILL he played a wicked set the track's he played were memorable hard hitting tune's, one of all mine and the Evo crowd's all time favourite's he played 1st and that was DARK MONK'S - INSANE this track is insane with it's wicked hard sound.this tune is imprinted in my and other peoples head, this tune wound the crowd up on the dance floor all i could hear is everyone singing to this track it drove me INSANE but insane with happiness, another cracking tune JIM played was FAITHLESS - GOD IS A DJ another blast from the past and yet again more singing i think it's going to be a night of hard dance karaoke, there's nothing wrong with that though. everyone is enjoying the tune's and the night so far as i can see, and yet again another top tune that JIM played was CAFE DEL MAR - MARCO V remix, then i heard another tune coming in and it was DUMONDE - TOMORROW just so many tunes from a gone by era and as his set came to a close JIM played out with THE PRODIGY - WARRIORS DANCE he played an awesome set every tune skillfully mixed into each other and the crowd loved every tune he played,

During JIM's set i went upstair's to go and see MOGZ-E play on the deck's, i have seen MOGZ-E play numerous time's on the deck's he multi skilled he can play hard house/trance/techno absolutely anything he is a good all rounder, i didnt get playlist from him as i intended, because as the night progressed i was indulging in some trance on the ground floor. but what i saw of MOGZ-E he played some top tunage, this is the last i seen of this room. i seen POLSTON play for a little while. but that was the last time i was in room 2,with the younger upcoming DJ's like POLSTON i can see who there influenced by. anyway as i was here to see the player's in room one i need to be down there,

On the deck's next was Mr EVOLUTION himself KRIS HILL he graced the decks.from 12am till 4am, the crowd welcomed the 1st of many tunes that he played was BINAR FINARY - 1998, everyone had their hand's in the air it was like a salute to KRIS HILL, the whistle crew were there blowing them whistles like mad, KRIS was only on for a few minute's and he wound the crowd up imediatley he played so many familiar EVOLUTION tune's, the hard dance karaoke started aswell. it was music to the ear's. everyone knew the word's to just about every track that he played. there was uproar as he played the begiong of each tune, it was pure madness it was great to see, i can remember every track that KRIS played it was trance heaven, i'll name a few tunes he played MARIO PICOTTO - PULSE, TUKAN - LIGHT A RAINBOW this being 1 of my favourite tracks amongst many other's from the Evo day's, KRIS is as mad as a hatter on the deck's as well as off them there were numerous Evo fans from the past trying to meet him tonight, it seemed the whole club wanted have a word with him. im just gutted his set was only four hour's long he played every track i wanted , but there were a few missing the 1 i wanted him to play but then again we would have been there for 24 hour's if he was to play every track that everyone wanted, a few more track's he played were RALPH FRIDGE - PARADISE, COWBOY AND CONDUCTOR - FEELING THIS WAY, ALEX C - AMIGOS FOREVER, JAN JOHNSON - FREEFALL, FRANCHINO - JAY AND JANE, HYPERTRAXX - THE DARKSIDE, BABY D - LET ME BE YOUR FANTASY, and a whole lot more so many to remember, all in all his set was amazing the whole of the club loved every track and the best part most of it was sung by the crowd, it was amazing to see everyone singing to every track, its a wicked feeling i had shiver's running down my spine, it was an awesome night, the podium dancer's were great, a matter of fact the night was the best night i've had for sometime, i love my trance, and i had it proper tonight, KRIS was on form tonight he knew what everyone wanted and he gave it to us 110%. to be honest i would not of expected no less from KRIS HILL and the very last track that was played by KRIS was BROOKLYN BOUNCE - BORN TO BOUNCE, as he brought the set to a close everyone gave KRIS a whistle and cheer and then he was off, on next was NICK RAFFERTY the tracks i heard him play seem to be updated versions of old tracks i could'nt name them as by this time i knackered but i did stay till the end it was 5am when the night finished, as i said before everyone enjoyed it, but everyone want's to know when the next Evolution reunion part 2 night is, A big thanks to all DJ's who played tonight the night would'nt of been what is was without you and it was awesome night, cant wait till the next 1, and a special thank's to valley houser for helping me out with some of the track's that i couldnt name. cheers mate.

It was a hard nights clubbing, but it was worth the achy legs im in need of a 2 hip replacements also need reinvestment in dancing shoes aswell...i wore them shoes out tonight.. if you would like to tell us about your night at EVOLUTION REUNION please leave comment we would be interested to hear your view's on the night.
