reds is always having a refit lol they just need to make the club bigger i used to have all good nights in there even new years eve was brill a few years ago!
never went to the miss moneypenny got loadz of emails about it :*( shud of went now!

Cheers for your comments. It always seems to me that there are people that want to listen to 'club' music in a club but the support in Chelmsford for it hasn't been that great.

yeah thinking of it i wouldnt mind going back there im getting a tad feb up with bas @ the mo as they seem to play the same tunes over and over again like what people are saying about dukes!

i used to be on the dukes forum b4 that went tits up aswell! lol
and when it came to the music topics everyone used to ask for trance/techno and garage and bit more house
i used to ask for sandstorm-darude they used look @ me like i was a zombie! never played it!

Some interesting comments but the biggest problem is that no club will open til 6am because there isn't the market for it. If people want a hard night clubbing they go to London. If you have to travel at all you may as well go the extra few miles and go to one of the big clubs and listen to a big name DJ. People who go out in Chelmsford generally want to go out, get sh!t faced and roll back home. That is just the sad reality of it.

dont like dukes really when i go up chelmsford see my mate who at uni near there if we go into chelmsofrd prefer just going to the bars down by the river like edwards and yates and that. and rich in funk your right places dont stay open til 6 as it isnot worth their while and problem is for me anyway if i want to go london for the night unless get somewhere to stay then have to wait for first train back in the morning then not get back til mid mornin lol and your last comment is so true about my mate whos up there but iv only been there a few times and dont think its that great a place to go even when you do get wrecked feel sorry for em really but it there choice where to go if they are too tight chip in a bit extra for a taxi and go elsewhere then it down to them init
