The original dream team moving up on the scene...
What are your hopes and dreams, your aspirations.

What's the one thing you'd like to do with your life before you die?

How do you want to leave you mark on this planet?

What's the thing that's most going to say "I was here and this is what I did?"

From something as shallow as shagging 1000 people or as deep to finding world peace, what do you hope for?

Personally I would like to write a book, a bestseller, something that everyone out there was reading, and nobody could put down. The kind of book that was so absorbing you'd be discussing it and the concepts in it with everyone, smiling at the insight gleaned from the pages. I've already got an idea that's taken me years to develop. A Gibsoneque cyberpunk critique of the now and the net culture; I used to be so very lazy but am all too aware if you wait too long these days someone else will just come along and redevelop your story. To the jacKcave...

Your turn...

Thing about having a kid is, you need to have reached those goals or at least ticked the possibly imaginary boxes of ultimate life experiences before even considering making plans. I mean this kid is basically asking you to step aside and if you're not relatively satisfied with that stage of your life, you're going to end up resenting the kid.

Which is why I find it hard to swallow when people have children young through choice, have you really achieved everything you want to, and you're willing to skip straight to handing over the baton?

You do see that to a rather large volume of people having a child and bringing it up is exactly what they want to do though right?

The thing is that by having children I would effectively wipe everything else I love out of my life.

Rubbish. You just have be great at juggling things around, and find a couple of amazing babysitters! (Finally!!!)

What I mean is, unless you're secure in yourself and your own achievements having this little bundle of youth and energy is going to hurt like hell surely? I mean it's not like men and women become little angels when they have kids, impervious to feelings of regret etc.

To be honest, as much as I wanted Oscar, for the first year at least a big part of me resented him. That's quite hard to say, even now, but alas it was true. I just don't think I had any idea how disrupting it would be to me life.

I always thought I was a selfless person, so it came as a shock to see that I was quite on the contray, and I HATED that I couldn't just do what I wanted, whenever the mood took me. I fought the fact that my social life was pretty much buggered for a while, but eventually I found our rhythm, and slowly but surely, I now have a really full social life. Having our house now makes things easier too, and we can have people over on the weekends when our babysitter is busy.

I'm impressed. When alls said and done having a baby and reaching a point in your life where you can juggle both your own life with that of the babies is an achievement in itself.

Just as long as my little bugger doesn't become an international film director he can do what the fuck he likes....

Yeah, I'll accept that. But still, I want to really want to own a dog but I'm not going to because there are loads of things to do that having a dog will get in the way off. I can have a dog later, why complicate things by running them together? There are loads of very logical reasons to leave having children till later rather than sooner. Anyway, I'll shut up now before i get offensive.

I'd quite like to qualify for the GB masters team - but I'm not sure if my knees will stand it.

How do you want to leave you mark on this planet?

Hopefully I've already done that... by helping to clean up everyone else's mark: modeczev.com

you probably need to stop looking to ever have a chance of finding him!

Are you moonlighting as a Sex and the City scriptwriter, Beez?

I'd like to do some more travelling and write a screenplay.

In the meantime my goal is always to live for the moment (as much as my overdraft allows)

1) Earn decent money working with enough spare time to still have fun by either freelancing or owning a business. I think freelancing is probably a better mix though because owning a business is never going to really pay off on the spare time until it's a complete success.
2) Get a family (probably, though this isn't essential)
3) Have a house with a private nightclub and sound studio in the basement

I just find the idea of kids abhorrent.

I'd like to have a number one record as a Grime MC. I've been watching Wiley, Kano and Lethal B non stop for the last 48 hours whilst working.

managed 1. and 2. in your list Tom, but i would pass on the private nightclub in the house...the novelty would soon wear thin plus i like my own space away from that.

After basically having this for a while last year, I definately want it back. And next time it'll be better.

I'd quite like to convert a warehouse into a home. I like open plan designs, and I need to be able to play music loud in my house so being away from other people is essential. No more cricket bats at dawn.

I mean a small little clubby type thing for parties, not any old randoms. Could be a cinema/games room in the mean time.
