Break Out 6th June - meet the DJs: Siytek & Robinson

This article is about Break Out @ Dakota B2B Special Friday 6th June @ Dakota in Cheltenham (UK), Fri 06 Jun 2008

Break Out’s next installment brings you a tag-team of some of the South West’s finest house and electro DJs in our annual B2B extravaganza. First up to flex their audio muscles is the self titled "audio crime fighting" DJ duo SiyTek & Robinson, so lets find out more about these contenders in next week's battle @ Dakota.

SiyTek is famous throughout Gloucestershire and beyond for his unique electronic live shows, which have always been a highlight at Break Out and never fails to impress the crowd. From live electronic drumming wowing the crowds at Turnmills (just check out this link: youtube.com ) and at Es Vive in Ibiza and at our Break Out events in Cheltenham, to his legendary “KeyTar” playing (last seen bringing the house down at Break Out’s 2nd birthday at Dakota), to his awesome fully live show featuring all original tunes, using 4 different keyboards, a vocoder, a drum machine and loads of FX and it was show-stopping, jaw-dropping electronic dance music heaven there is not doubt SiyTek is a multi-talented musician with an arsenal of electronic instruments at his disposal.

SiyTek has now teamed up with local producer Robinson to form a dynamic “audio crime fighting DJ duo” pledging to keep our clubs free of dire, predictable music. With their cuttin- edge electric beats, huge stage presence and crowd interaction, they can be seen each and every Sunday for the Sunday Service @ Thirteen Degrees spinning only the freshest electro and showcasing the new material they have been whipping up in the studio.

Not content with audio crime fighting, this dynamic duo has now undertaken a Charity drive to Ibiza in the summer of 2009 in aid of the County Air Ambulance. Their madcap plan will see them set off from Cheltenham to Ibiza, stopping along the way in France and Spain to perform gigs on the way. Their main gig will of course be on the legendary White Isle and they will then retrace their steps back through Spain & France to arrive back in Cheltenham for a final gig. And the time limit these crazy kids have allowed themselves – one week!

We can’t wait to have this ‘dynamic duo’ behind the decks at Break Out; they have promised us the only finest electronic music and their trademark, madcap antics behind the decks.

See you all down the front @ Dakota on the 6th – arrive early to avoid the queues and for free entry!
