Break Out proudly presents our 3rd birthday bash!

Break Out proudly invites you to join us as we celebrate 3 years of roadblock parties! Since Break Out first opened its doors (out in the ‘wilds’ of Stroud) in April 2006 we’ve come a long way baby! Our flagship parties in Cheltenham have gone from strength to strength, from the hazy days of Bohemia & Coco Lush right up to now, where we’ll be celebrating one year of fantastic events at Dakota. Then there was our first ever Break Out in Cheltenham at the 2Pigs, the Break Out BBQ last summer (extreme Buckaroo anyone?), the awesome Micky Slim event & the pink party at Moda plus plenty of fun & frolics at Subtone and taking the Break Out sound to Cirencester at Seventeen Black! On top of that we have rammed legendary London club Turnmills for Lizzie Curious’s album launch in ’07 and even taken Break Out to the White Isle for a glamorous all-nighter at Es Vive in Ibiza.

We’ve had some crazy themes, from Halloween, pirates & castaways, doctors & nurses, black & white, sunglasses to hat parties but one thing’s for sure, the recipe for these awesome parties has always been the same: crowd-enthusing DJs, wicked underground tunes (be it breaks/electro/house or tech-trance there’s always some filth involved!) and an electric, friendly atmosphere which is all down to you guys! So we’d like to give a big shout out to the Break Out faithful – from the “old hats” who’ve been with us since the start to the newbies who’ve been stomping down the front since we moved to Dakota - your smiling faces and mad antics help make each party one to remember!

On April 17th Break Out brings you a road-block line-up of our tried & tested residents alongside the DJs from over the past 3 years who never fail to rock the Break Out decks!

Having had a very busy few months DJing across the country and setting up his own record label/working on his studio tan, Nick Fisher (Elektrophonik/Love Love) - notably Swindon’s hottest export - is back by popular demand for a peak time set at Break Out! Nick has played for us on many occasions and never fails to totally blow the crowd away with his super-twisted filthy electro music.

From DJing at Amnesia (Ibiza) to Russia, to consistently rocking crowds in the capital and across the country, not to mention her vocals for Robbie Rivera, Tim Davison and Nino Anthony, it’s been a pleasure to watch the career of our inimitable resident Lizzie Curious rise and rise alongside Break Out’s success! Lizzie was on the line-up for the first ever Break Out at Riga and has been an intrinsic part of Break Out’s growth both behind the scenes and on the dancefloor ever since. We challenge you to find another female DJ out there that can match the crowd reactions she gets each and every time she plays!

Ash Scott has been supporting Break Out since the early days and has come on so well that we have offered him a coveted residency. You want filth-fuelled energy and a larger than life personality behind the decks? Look no further than Ash Scott! Joe Doyle has established himself as a favourite with Break Out and for our birthday he teams up with the Break Out head honcho himself Simon Pisani for a back to back set of gargantuan proportions. Most deserving of a few ‘birthday drinks’ on the night, it’s fair to say that Simon Pisani has worked unfailingly hard over the last three years to bring you – the party people of the ‘Shire - some truly awesome parties and a chance to enjoy twisted, underground music that you would normally have to travel hours out of Cheltenham to hear! Si has himself also has rocked the crowd at Break Out on many occasions!

Last but by no means least we bring you resident Chris Hughes B2B Mr. Yip. We have been championing Chris Hughes since his first gig for us in the summer of 2006 and his underground house tracks combined with nothing less that impeccable mixing have built him up a loyal following with the Break Out crowd and throughout Gloucestershire. Mr. Yip’s energy and enthusiasm is contagious and reflected in the strong following he has: these two DJs B2B will make for a fantastic set!
