With Orbital and Basement Jaxx both headlining this year's Big Chill it's unlikely it will live up to its name all that much. Well, not the Chill part anyway. We've got a pair of camping tickets to give away. Comment on this story with your favourite way to chill out and the best wins the tickets. Remember, if you are entering you'll need to be able to make your own way to and from the event and be able to go last minute. For more on the event see their website. Normal Ts and Cs apply. We'll pick a winner on Thursday.
The Rizla Invisible Players tour touches down at The Big Chill, Eastnor Castle on 6th-9th August with a new look arena and a heavy weight line-up of party hosts.
The Big Chill team have come up with an idea to keep the festival feeling going all year long in the west country. On 1st October, local promoters Dave Smeaton and James Savage who have been running busy bars in the area for 20 years will launch The Big Chill Bristol. The Big Chill already has two bars but this will be the first outside of the London. Dave Smeaton said “The Big Chill's mix of music, art and great food will be welcomed in a city which has always embraced all of these things in a big way", “Now all the many Bristol Big Chillers can get a small piece of the festival every day for free!"
