When we held our last Break Out of the summer on 31st Aug, amidst the news that Bohemia was closing down, we lost count of the number of people who begged us to find another home for Break Out. Well not only have we found a fantastic new home, but it just happens to be arguably the best venue for house music in the county, Subtone! Renowned across Gloucestershire and beyond for quality clubbing, Subtone bring worldclass DJs to Cheltenham, including some of the very biggest names in house music: Benny Benassi, Nick Bridges (Bodyrox), Plump DJs, Sister Bliss, Hoxton Hores, Freemasons, Norman Jay to name but a few! Subtone is well known for its fantastic vibe, pumping soundsystem and friendly crowd, and with the famous live piano bar and a mix of funk, classics, urban and breaks music across the other rooms, we just know you are going to love Break Out at the Bongo Bar!

For our first event in the Bongo Bar, we are very pleased to have Subtone’s longstanding, talented resident Darren Price on the decks. Darren will be joined by one of the South West’s finest dirty electro DJs Nick Fisher, who has just landed himself a (wholly-deserved) place in the finals of the Corona World DJ tournaments! Nick & Darren will be joined by the Break Out residents to complete a night of total aural pleasure for house music lovers. We’re also going to have a dress theme of Monochrome, so please adorn yourselves with your finest black & white outfits and get ready for a night of mind-blowing house music!
