Two of our best and dearest of friends, Tamara Hodgson & Claire Farrer-Brown, have spent the last year raising money for the well-known charity, 'BREAST CANCER CARE' www.breastcancercare.org.uk.
They’ve organized a number of fund-raising events in and around their home towns of
Chichester & Worthing in West Sussex; the most successful until only recently being an auction that raised a total of
£1300!
The most impressive to report, however, is their recent trek to the
SACRED VALLEY in CUSCO, PERU where they spent
6 days trekking at altitudes of 4500 metres, heights of up to 15,000 feet and in temperatures as low as -8º! The girls trained
really hard for this and returned safe and sound just recently. Their time away sounds
awesome – really proud of you guys x
With events they’ve run to date, various donations from friends and family and their recent trek to
Peru, they’ve managed to raise a total of
£4800 between them!!! But they're not stopping there....
They haven’t got long now till their
end of October deadline and are organizing one final event to bump that already impressive figure up some more!
We’re giving one last push to a really worthwhile cause
(Breast Cancer Care Charity) and need your support...The aim of this night is to just have a bit of friendly fun whilst raising the girls some more cash towards their worthy cause.
The event is this
Saturday, October 6th @ LA HAVANA BAR in Chichester (West Sussex), where
5 DJs from across the
south coast will be keeping you entertained with some of the freshest dance music they can dish out. It's a funky little underground bar with a really nice atmosphere...DJs confirmed for the night are:

Doors open 7pm - late but no admissions after 11.30pm so make sure you get there early!
