The Silk Road is a lounge and cocktail bar with a 40 seats Thai restaurant cooking excellent food. The design and decoration is a mix of Arabic lamps and Balinese style furniture. There is a long bar with a lot of yummy cocktails and friendly bartenders. Good service in the lounge with platters of spring rolls and satays and nice groovy music in the background. No need to travel to London anymore, finally we have it in Colchester. Every Wednesday evening, live music with a band called Rain playing soft soul in a Marvin Gaye kind of style.
