1] When & Where did you play your 1st gig

My 1st set was at the Gallery when i was 16 playing funky house, and to be fair i hadn't a cluewhat i was doing !!
My 1st proper set was about a year later when i played at the Berlin in Manchester for Rehab ran by Danny Green, I was playing alongside Charlotte Birch and it was a fantastic experience for me.
After that i was playing regularly AS A resident at North & Elemental

2] What got you into Playing

When i was a kid i used to buy albums & think wouldn't it be good if you could put all the good bits together, So i began experimenting with taking parts of tracks and banding them together.
eventually i bought a mixer & was trying to mix with a cd player & a lockdown record player that worked like a cd, at this point beat mixing was so far away on the horizon i didn't even know it existed !!.
Then i bought my 1st decks which were an all in one set up by Caravelle which i took with me to my 1st ever time playing out at a youth club.
somehow a 20p piece dropped inside them & they caught on fire, as there was a que of kids waiting to get in Ha Ha Ha

3]Who are your influencies in the industry

Dont want to use a clique here but my biggest influence has been and still is Tony De Vit, A god like DJ & a hell of a nice fella to boot !!
Today i enjoy Technikal , Guyver , K90 , Rob Tissera to name a few

If he was a nice fella and a godlike DJ why on earth would you want to BOOT him ?

No seriously now......
Id say i'll be bringing the set everyone wants to hear [or hope you do]
because every tune i buy is because i absolutley [swear word removed] LOVE IT!
Or
I wont be playing the same 20 tunes doing the rounds just because they are new...
As i hate going to a night & hearing 10 Dj's play the same tunes in a different order

8]How would you describe your sound

Again thats a really hard question
As i play different styles depending on where and time im playing,
What the promoter wants me to ply & of course depending on the crowds reaction.
For example
if im playing NRG and it looks like im scaring them off the dance floor i'll try something thatleans more towards the Hard House or even Hard Trance.
I think an important lesson ive learnt is.... You cant please everyone , but you can find the sound that'll have most of the room up & AVIN IT!!
I really love long epic mixes & i do alot to make it fresh, so even though you may have heard some of the tracks i play countless times before .. You'll hear them in a way youv'e never heard before ..[hpefully] :-)

9] What other types of music do you play

These days i predominatly play Hard House Hard NRG Bounce & Hard Trance
But i can & sometimes do play Trance Old Skool Funky House Speed Garage & occasionaly
Ahem.. Hardcore
