With new night CONVERGENCE less than a week away we caught up with Princess S.K.B to ask the usual stupid Questions and a couple of goodies.

Are you looking forward to the opening party of CONVERGENCE and anything special planned for us.

As for anything special other than some new tunes NO ! Im not planning on hanging upside down playing them.

Seriously of course it will be special for everyone, first nights always are, hopefully it will go well and be the start of big things for Convergence, the posts on here ive seen and things i have been hearing have been all been positive,

Youve been doing the rounds for a few years now , what do you think of the scene at the moment

I think it is getting harder and harder for everyone at the minute,Pressure on promotors to fill clubs and risk money ,with smaller nights opening up and closing just as fast, So many talented Dj's trying to get gigs, Pressure on Dj's not just to be playing tunes but producing them aswell.
It seems at the minuite you have to be a Promotor a DJ a Producer a ticket tout a digital label owner and network everywhere just to get a gig

WOW ! you do all that

NO! I am a DJ and i work with Engineers producing my own tracks.
I am rubbish at Networking , couldnt imagine trying to promote a night and Im rubbish on the internet so wouldnt have a clue about running a digital label.

What about the Ticket Tout thing !

I am not a ticket tout im a DJ, I think DJ'S should be booked on talent a good DJ will attract people. A good promotor will sell tickets. I am very fortunate i have a good following but if i was forever trying to sell them tickets i dont think they would follow me for long.

You mentioned your productoins you seem to be churning a bit out

Yes i have just started having stuff released on digital labels like Breed, Nasty Digital ,Staar recordings and theres alot to come on Boshed hard. I was in hospital for sometime last year and not well enough to play gigs so spent alot of time in the studio.

I know you have worked with some top name producers any up & coming ones you would like to give a shout to.

Yes Jason Speed making some really nice Techno
Nasty Neil E who i have been collaborating with, and he is banging some good NRG out on his own and with other artists.
I am really looking forward to working with LT1 in the near future.

In an interview a couple of years ago you tipped Andy Rise as one to lookout for
obviously got that right, on the Dj side who are you tipping now.

When your not producing or Djing what are you up to

Everyone always laughs and takes the mickey , but i keep pet pigs i love them, ive got 7 of them.
I love watching films dvd junkie.
Cleaning my little SMART CAR i like driving just aswell as i live in the middle of nowhere in lincolnshire so everywhere is a long journey. but always enjoy the drive in it especially because its YELLOW

Have you got any good luck charms or rituals before you play

Yes , Ive got a silver braclet my sister Lu-Lu gave me years ago and i only ever where it when i play, i put it on just before i put on my first track and take it off at the end of my set.
The one time i played without it i was Cr#p , and once it fell off halfway through a set and everything went wrong.

Recently theres been posts on the fittest female in clubland and your name has been mentioned your thoughts

Yep im really looking forward to playing for REMINISCE @ the Gallery , And being involved with the brand i think they are going to be a big player in 2008.
Also being back at SHINE as resident always a pleasure playing for Tony one of the nicest and most genuine people in the biz.
Also looking forward to CYBERKITTEN starting back up always a top party there.
And plenty more of my tunes on the way

What do you think about your fellow CONVERGENCE residents

I Know Spectra played with him many times and a fellow resident at NAILED, he is a real crowd pleasing dj and will keep the place buzzing.
Unfortunatley i cant comment on JJ Harrier i havent met him , but im sure he will be up for it and will have been made a resident on merit.
Must add ive seen a couple of guests they are having play at future events and its looking good.
