Convergance
Saturday 1st March saw the launch of Convergance @ The Glasshouse in Coventry, a new Hard Dance event that got of to a terrific start. Situated in the upper bar of The Glasshouse it is a compact venue that has a capacity of approx 300 people. With plenty of seating (the seats are very comfortable), a good size dance floor and with a good sound/light system it produces a good atmosphere, though sadly for you smokers out there it doesn't have a smoking area so you will have to go outside, but that is really only the major downside. Starting at 10.00pm and going on till 4.00am and with an on the door price of just £5.00 all night this represents good value, especially with the quality of the DJ's that will be playing there. There was a good size turnout for the launch night and with the DJ's pumping out some cracking high energy sets there was a real vibe about the place with everyone really enjoying themselves right up to closing time. DJ Spectra has to be congratulated for all the work he has put into creating this new event which on the strength of the launch night can really take off.
