HARDCORE BIG TOP: THE FACTS!

We have read many posts regarding Global Energy and it seems that there are concerns about the size and scale of the hardcore arena - hopefully this post will help us get across what we're aiming to achieve. Hardcore has not been downgraded to Arena 2 - we have moved hardcore outside to try and give you something a little bit different and a little bit special. Either Hardcore or Drum n Bass could have used the spectacular big top. We decided to give it to hardcore as you have already raved inside the Rollerworld arena and we like to keep things fresh and different wherever possible.

Those of you that went to Digital Circus will already have an idea of the size of the Big Top. We are using a similar sized big top, but in a different configuration for this event. The small photos on this post show the Digital Circus tent as well as the inside of similar tents at other events.

For stat fans the tent is 28m x 40m which gives a massive arena size of 960 m2 - this will actually allow us a larger area than Rollerworld. The arena will also range from 3m to 11m in height - this will create a huge and electric atmosphere - something you cannot afford to miss and something no club night could ever create!

For sound and lighting we have a special treat in store - the system that powered In The Sun 07 is being upgraded and installed to provide crystal clear sound throughout the arena - this will be complimented by a large lighting & visual effects rig. We have tasked out production team with creating something amazing and they have never yet failed to deliver!

Also - don't forget that by being in the big top you are closer to the free fairground rides, smoking area and chill out zone!

We look forward to seeing you on Bank Holiday Saturday 3rd May for the inaugural Global Energy - with your support this massive event is set to shake up the scene and bring true raving, with a modern twist, to the true hardcore.

if ya take a look at the site it will show you a plan of the layout.. it is lookin like a fukin wicked event if i must say. tryin t blag my mates to roll wit me... think they wanna go Crank It Up in Bournemouth instead tho =(
