Giuseppe Ottaviani started to release tracks on Paul Van Dyk’s renowned label Vandit Records in 2001 as part of the hugely popular duo Nu Nrg. Collectively his releases include massive tracks like Dreamland, The Spaceflower EP, Butterfly, Casino, Connective, Free Fall, Through Your Eyes, Beyond Your Thoughts, Linking People and Until Monday...these tracks along with being the number 1 live trance act in the world have led onto Giuseppe being considered one of the most talented producers and influential recording artist in trance music.
Now here comes his long awaited debut solo artist album which shows the different musical faces of one of the most creative producers of electronic music today – Giuseppe Ottaviani.

John Askew’s second appearance at Amplified is to celebrate the release of 'DS International Volume 2' mixed by the man himself, always one to push things forward and not go for the norm, John has crammed a staggering 47 tracks into the double cd; an amazing feat for a DJ mix compilation! With tracks, re-edits and remixes seamlessly crafted into over two energetic hours of tech to peak time trance from the likes of Paul van Dyk, John O'Callaghan, Temple One, Activa, Aly & Fila and of course John himself, this is a master class in technical, crowd pleasing mixing and track selection. This compilation is a brilliant example of what John will be delivering to the Amplified crowd in November!

Will Holland is regarded as one of the most influential young stars in trance today as the founder of one of the world’s leading trance labels Enhanced Recordings and with residencies at Gatecrasher and Digital Society.
With the world’s leading dance music magazine Mixmag stating ‘the future of trance is in safe hands’ during a recent interview with Will, the young Leeds based DJ/Producer with an international tour diary and four international radio shows to boot continues to push the sound he loves forward. As a producer Will has seen success on many of the leading labels with his productions, regularly featuring in the sets of the world’s leading DJ’s and with his last release ‘Tears In The Rain’ topping the biggest digital charts.
Famed for his ability to play ‘stand out sets at any time of the night’ (Gatecrasher), this has been reflected in his own productions and the broad spectrum of music that has been released to critical acclaim across the Enhanced labels.

Temple One aka Joe Garrett burst into the scene in 2006, and since has been one of the most in demand producers and remixers in the industry.
Heralded by Armin van Buuren as “One of my favourite producers today,” Joe is one of the hottest UK artists in 2009. With consistent support from every major DJ worth their salt, and featuring on every major radio show, compilation and set list going!
His recent releases String Theory, Betelgeuse, Afterglow and Paradox have seen some serious support from the aforementioned world number one DJ, as well as the likes of Above & Beyond, Tiesto, Paul van Dyk and more, whilst his imminent ‘Sahara Nights’ release is already causing quite a stir!
DJ wise Joe has been playing nights across the country including Digital Society, Gatecrasher and in November Amplified!

The Venue
The Royal is located in the Grade II listed Royal building on Victoria Street in Derby. The venue is split into two rooms, The Blue room is a 400+ capacity Grand Ball Room and The Red Room a 200+ capacity providing intimate and decadent surroundings.
Both rooms are unique in style whilst retaining many original features, chandeliers, wooden floors, high ceilings and period detail.
