A massive thanks to all who enjoyed our second monthly instalment of Rise. This was once again a great success as Rise journeys on through its reign at Doncasters coolest and newest venue and on into October which brings a feast of the countries best DJ’s both new and old.

On the menu will be DJ Corey. Corey is a DJ/Producer from Sheffield UK and has been bangin the beats out since 1998. His first taste of beatism came at Gatecrasher Plasma lounge when the Super Club was flying its full colours. His style was selective but always pleasing and teasing the crowd. This was to form the platform and earn him the reputation that he has today. This lead to him taking on the role as resident at Bed Night Club in Sheffield, DJing alongside DJ's such as Eric Morillo, Roger Sanchez and Masters at Work. He has travelled as far as Russia and Japan spreading the word of his unique DJ sets and slowly building a following across the globe.

Joining Corey in the back room will be Marc Leaf. Marc has been at the forefront of the music scene in his home city of Leeds, since sentencing himself to becoming a full-time working dj at the tender age of 17. During this time Marc has dedicated his life to fine-tuning his deck skills and honing his style of power-packed, ass-shaking music that he loves to play.
From doing illegal raves, parties and pirate radio stations way back when (working with the likes of Dave Beer - even before Back To Basics was born), to these days where Marc dishes out the beats to thousands of people at the Love Leeds events, playing at some of the biggest club nights at home and abroad... One thing for sure is that he leaves his stamp wherever he roams.
Over the past 17 years Marc has earned the respect of many fellow dj's and producers from all corners of the dance music scene, attracting a growing band of dedicated and passionate followers in the process.
Nowadays he can be found playing and partying at some of the top nights around and currently he holds residencies at KissDaFunk, Gatecrasher and last but not least Federation, from where he has some treasured memories.

In the Funkier room will be Dave Henning. It all started for Dave after completing his University studies when the opportunity arose to DJ in a brand new club in Tenerife. It was here, in the Leopard Lounge, where Dave learnt his trade. After returning from Tenerife he worked in several bars in and around Sheffield before moving on to clubs.
Five years later, he is proud to be working at the world-famous Gatecrasher 1 in Sheffield, as well as the brand new Lava & Ignite in Chesterfield.
On top of all this, he presents two shows a week on Hallam FM - 'Feel Good Fridays' (Fridays 7 til 10pm) and 'Floorfillers' (Saturday nights from 10pm til 2am.)
Hallam FM is one of the UK's largest radio stations outside London.

Joining our guests will be local legonds Rick ‘Stylus’ Lister, Bubblefunk’d DJ’s, Keiran Fearson & Marlon.
See you on the dance floor!
