Well what can I say about Tonk presents Technikal?

Let me start at the beginning...........

After a 4 month wait from the December Tonk, the Tonkateers have been on tenterhooks waiting for the next installment of all things bosh, so when we heard that the King himself, Mr Technikal was playing at this event we all went gaa gaa!!

Waiting upstairs in the gallery of the Funktion rooms and hearing the bass coming from the Sub Club downstairs as the Tonk team were getting ready for us all to invade was just too unbearable as the excitement took over us all. Then the moment arrived.....the doors were open!!

First to grace the decks was the long anticipated debut set from Fool 52 who had the crowd jumping from the minute he put his headphones on with his euphoric hard dance tunes and tight ass mixing skills. The Sub Club was packed tighter than a tin of sardines as he moved up a level to some stomping hardstyle and the crowd went ballistic!
A brilliant debut set and I for one look forward to the next time he plays out! Well done Aaron!

Then came Tonk resident and local super hero Nik S who is an absolute legend in my book as anyone whos seen him play will probably agree with me! He kept the crowd screaming for more with his superb mixing skills and uplifting hard trance with a bit of a stompfest thrown in for good measure! This DJ is gonna go far, mark my words!

After Nik S came Simon Qudos who carried on the "hands in the air" atmosphere that had been set by the Tonk boys. At this point I had to go outside to cool down but I could hear the bass pounding even outside! Well done Simon!

Then to finish us all off both mentally and physically came the King of hard dance, Technikal. This man is most definately a legend on the decks and a jolly nice guy to boot! He had the crowd going absolutely mental with his unique mixing skills and effects all rounded up with his wicked tunes that everybody knows and loves. I for one am a huge fan of his!!

All in all I think this was a most memorable night and I cant wait to see what treats Nik S and Fool 52 have for us at the next Tonk presents......

TONK is the future

The rate in which TONK has grown I'd say you're right there!

Technikal, BK, Lisa Pin-Up (Or was it Lashes?)... Either way, that's impressive for a new promotion!

lol I clanged two mixes, one of them I moved the wrong channel up (D'oh) and the other one I had my phone on the deck and leant on it and it changed the Tempo (D'oh) again!! Managed to keep it going though!!! :D

i actually have time to say aomething little. aaron well done mate you started realy well, unfortunatly for me though i started my day drinking early so when 11 came and tonk doors open for all of us tonkateers (oh and have to quickly point out got to eastbourne at 9 bloody hell how slow did those 2 hours go nikki?) i was quite drunk so i spent beginning of me night looking for someone that prob didnt even exist. and wow before anyone can even say tonk 3 times it was 2.45 where did the time go? unfortunatly i have to do boring weekly things so just have to say quickly it was realy nice to meet trancebaby and nik s and phizz, of course there is so many more i would like to mention but as you all know allready its allways nice to go to tonk and meet all you nutters, seen you all at next tonk. once again well done aaron. xxx
