Hey everyone, was at sophistifunk on sat after warming the night up at sportsters next door (by this i ment was in with my mates drinking not dj-ing!). Music was quite average i would say and the beatchmatching wasn't too great. The good looking girls were not up 4 any fun whatsoever with any of us guys, they were quite stuck up aswell. The djs in city seem pretty bored and non-enthusiastic. John Maclean who djs in sportsters on fridays is much better.

Fanx m8, yeh fair enuf i know he's a gd dj but in a previous week i was trying to talk to him and see how the night was goin etc...but he was just moaning like fuck and wouldnt play any of the new dance songs i asked for (one of these being Joey Negro - make a move on me, which got the place jumping on saturday!). I've seen better nights in city and will be back definetely coz i know what the dj is capable of. When i dj i try 2 entertain which is gd but i supose john has to make sure his beatmathing is gd not his entertaining. nah wasnt lucky enough to wake up like that...

Kobra systems are very professional, its not the type u'l find in a local disco shop. one of my managers was thinking of buying one, this was gonna cost £27000 tho!!

Anyone who still has to worry about their beatmatching skills isn't quite ready for human consumption, I suggest you keep practising. John Hutchison is a respected, well liked and integral part of Edinburgh's clubbing community, I'm not too sure who you are but I suggest you think twice about airing your negative opinions in a forum aimed at furthering and expanding Edinburgh's clubbing community.

Sorry 2 cause all of this bother ladies and gents...sophistifunk i mixed up john with the wednesday dj because you said ^^^ theres only one dj in the club. I admit i am not the best of djs but like 2 learn from how different crowds react 2 different nights in edinburgh. how many of u where actualy at the night i first mentioned??? They reason i started this was i just didn't like the way john looked down on me, i was only asking him how his night was going etc.. when people speak 2 me at discos and clubs whilst dj-ing i like 2 have as positive an attitude as i can. Maybe John was'nt enjoying the night or something i don't know might have just been cause he probably hated me 2 hehe!! And of course yes i do know john is a great dj but does he always play 110% fantastically every night or what??? So he doesn't have off nights where he doesn't quite have songs in synch??? And for everybody's information i will find a link from my manager about the Kobra system and will be expecting very large apologys. I repeat yes John Hutchison is a great dj. And as for trying to slag my dj-ing nobody that has not seen me in action can judge me.

As for all of you that attempted to slag my knowledge of sound systems i have found a link for Dynacord Cobra Sound Systems please take a look and anyone that is big enough to apologise it would be more than welcome. There has been one of these systems installed into the Berlin (Germany) Football Stadium for the World Cup, therefore i conclude that i think these systems may be able 2 reach the prices which my manger quoted at £27,000.

No i work at images entertainments store in livingston the best disco equipment retailer in britain with over 14000 stock lines and HE IS MY MANAGER THERE, i also work for his disco company 2 therefore HE IS MY MANAGER THERE ASWEL!!! just had 2 clear another point up! this manager knows what he is talking about as him and myself re-wired the whole of the club earth nightclub!!
