MTV Dance has had a presence in Ibiza since 1999, with residencies at El Divino and Privilege, as well as covering the rest of the Island top club nights.

Nick Bridges

Resident at four of the most famous clubs in the World including Ministry of Sound (Housexy), The Cross (Fiction) and Fabric (DTPM), Nick Bridges is one of the most exciting young DJ/producers in the UK.

Following a number of years playing throughout the East of England, Nick caught the attention of Ministry of Sound's 'Rulin' promoter earning him a debut at the World's most famous Super Club in 1999. Within a year Nick made his debut in 'The Box' and was later showcased during a 7-hour set at the Millennium Dome New Years Eve 2000.

Throughout 2001, Nick’s performances led to a succession of dates and residencies across Europe, including Privilege, Pacha & Space, Ibiza; leading to his appointment as Ministry of Sound's World Tour Resident in 2002 - playing every weekend throughout the World inc. America, Asia, Africa and Europe.

In addition to his grueling tour schedule, Nick was asked to compile and mix his first Ministry of Sound Album in Summer 2002 and was invited to perform on the Nescafe World Tour and the Bacardi Tour of Spain. He ended the year with a return to the Millennium Dome for NYE 2002.

2003 saw Nick cement his position as one of the UK's hottest rising talents with his second album release, his appointment as Ministry of Sound London’s Saturday Sessions resident, Bacardi Tour Resident of Spain and the launch of his weekly radio show on Ministry of Sound Radio. 2003 also saw the start of his new production partnership with Full Intention's Jon Pearn.

Pearn & Bridges' debut 'Ruff Beats' was signed to Big Love achieving Hype/Club chart success with support from all the usual suspects including ATFC, Stonebridge and Norman Jay, signifying the start of this successful production partnership.

2004 saw Nick tipped as 'one to watch' by IDJ mag; a sentiment shared by the industry and clubbers alike nominating Nick in the 2004 House Music Awards' 'Breakthrough DJ' category alongside the likes of Nic Fanculli - the industry leading award programme was created 'to recognise and celebrate the creators and innovators of house music'.
Tipped for chart success, Pearn & Bridges' (Bodyrox) 'Yeah Yeah' was signed to Eye Industries in 2005 for release in summer 2006 and Nick was signed to one of London's most respected agencies, Blue Cube Management for Worldwide representation.

With his Saturday Sessions residency in full effect at Ministry of Sound London, Blue Cube announced Nick was to become resident at another two of London's most prolific parties - Fiction at The Cross and DTPM at Fabric; whilst eMap announced Nick was to become the latest specialist to join one of Kiss 100's sister stations Vibe FM to officially kick start Vibe's weekend scheduling of specialist shows.

Pearn & Bridges launched Juki Records in Summer 2005 with their debut '$treet Price' receiving unanimous support from the UK press (5/5 IDJ Mag August 2005) and Worldwide DJ support from the likes of Deep Dish, Sander Kleinenberg, Mutiny and many more establishing Nick as a truly innovative, world-class Producer.

Summer 2005 saw Pearn & Bridges second Bodyrox single 'Jump' signed to Eye Industries whilst Ministry of Sound announced Nick was to front their new Housexy project which would see Nick compile and mix a series of albums for Ministry of Sound and host the monthly Housexy radio show on Ministry of Sound Radio.
