Catch Lee Dagger aka Bimbo Jones at Diskokitten on Sturday 14th April at Berlin with the Diskokitten residents for their house warming party at Berlin...

1. For those of you that aren't familiar with your production work, live performances and global DJ sets why don't you fill us in on where it all began and what you have been up to recently?

All began back in 1990/ 1991 watching the likes of Dj Sasha and Carl cox. Recently I've been finishing new Bimbo Jones tracks for our Glastonbury set (were booked to play at the dance village on sat 23rd june), as well as remixing the likes of Yoko Ono, Candi Staton, Ciara, De Souza. I was djing last week in Prague again but this time with Bimbo Jones lead singer Katherine Ellis- it was great fun.

2. This will be the third time that you have DJ'ed at Diskokitten how do you feel the atmosphere at Diskokitten and the Scottish crowd compares to your other global gigs. We know from past experience how much you love that awful Scottish chant..." Here we, here we, here f*@king go..." ?

I love up here, there - Scotland. I've been coming up since 1998 when my brother used to live here. Its a great place and the people are fan dabby dosey ( fantastic that is). I always get a great reception at Diskokitten and the folk are really friendly to talk too. The chant is a bit of fun. I had them doing it at Global gathering last year and Ibiza (oopps)

3. One of our Diskokitten Team members took a shining to your wife's Jimmy Choo boots you bought her a present. What is the best present y our wife has ever bought you?

Probably an old french chandelier.

4. When you aren't working or playing music what do you like do with your free time?

Free time -whats that (ha ha). Surfing, restoring vw campers and old mercs.

5. Aside from being a regular on the London club circuit you play a lot of corporate celebrity parties, have you got any celebrity stories and are you able to dish the dirt?

I djed at Pink's UK album launch. The head honchos wanted her to make a funky entrance so they had 6 hells angels carry her in air (material girl stylee) whilst we played the Banjo solo track from the movie Deliverance. I also Djed at the Brits after party and had Andre from Outkast dancing in front of the decks to a bootleg we made of 50 cent Vs Geoge Benson's give me the night.

6. As you know from your past two visits we like to theme our Diskokitten parties, what would be your suggestion for a Diskokitten theme?

Pirates, Space movie characters, bedroom wear, School disco or hat parties.

7. What new tracks can we expect from Lee Dagger and Bimbo Jones in the near future and where can our readers find out more about your work?

Check out our new reworking of Candi Statons -young hearts run free- its MASSIVE at all my gigs. Also new bimbo jones track 'Make you mine' that sounds a bit like a certain pet shop boys track, and a new track with gramma funk, and a hot piano house track with Kathy Brown called Dance.
