Diskokitten is on the search for new talent! Niall Angus, John Marr and even Diskokitten head honcho Andy Opel all made a name for themselves through their infamous residencies with the club.

Diskokitten is looking for fresh young DJ's who aren't afraid to drop nostalgic anthems, cross genres and bring some carisma to get the dancefloor rocking. Remember bad taste is only a matter of opinion and the Diskokitten sound is all about being that little bit different, in a good way though. If you are new to the Diskokitten sound it's worth checking out our residents mixes, diskokitten.co.uk to get a better idea of what floats our boat. CD, Vinyl and Digital DJ's all welcome, aspiring Ritchie Hawtin's need not apply!

To Enter...

Please submit a demo mix between 45 and 60 minutes long with a full tracklisting, your full name and a contact mobile number. To submit your mix either send a download link to us@diskokitten.com or email us at the same address for a postal address to submit CD's too. The closing date for receiving demos is Monday 24th August. DJ's who currently hold a residency may not enter this competition.

What you win...

Shortlisted DJ's will be notified and be given 45 minute sets at Diskokitten on Saturday 12th September. Judged by the Diskokitten team, residents and Floorplay's Barrie Wilkins and Kiwi, the winner will be picked on the night and win the opportunity to close the front bar for the final hour. Thats not all, the winner will also win a spot on the Diskokitten rosta with regular slots at our events beginning with our October party!
