Huggy & Dean Newton are having the most unforgettable year to date thanks to their club smash '747' on Subliminal Records and Sam Obernik's penned 'Get Lifted (Indian Summer)' is shaping up to be one one of the stand out vocal tracks of 2009. Their tech house bomb 'Pressure' is out now Cr2 and the Uber Swede Steve Angello personally emailing the guys to say 'I want a track for Size'.

Huggy & Dean Newton burst onto the scene in 2008 with 'La Terrazza' which was championed by a wide selection of DJ's that included Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, Tiesto, Wally Lopez & Tom Novy. 21 compilations later the boys followed it up with 'Bellkiss' for Wally Lopez's Factomania and the original version of 'Indian Summer' which was secured by Big Love. The demand for these guys productions has soared with remixes of Ultraviolet 'Kites' (Championed by Sasha, John Digweed, Dubfire & Nick Warren) and German starlets Orli & da Ragnio's 'Suono'. Further singles 'Spectrum' & 'Grand Prix' will ensure this tireless duo further heat this autumn and just this week Traxsource have titled them One of the best newcomers in 2009.

DJ wise these guys are also raising the bar even higher with their 2 man full digital Traktor Pro sets. Synching 2 Macbooks Huggy & Dean's sets are packed with more tracks than ever constantly looping up parts when other DJ's are still deciding what to play next. The average 2 hour set contains around 70 tracks with drumloops, accapellla's and synth parts ensuring there are never any lulls in there set. Proving that 2 DJ's really are better than one and anyone who has seen them already would not disagree.
