Ahead of her forthcoming appearance at Nuklearpuppy's Xmas party on the 5th December we took 5 minutes out of Anne's hectic schedule to grill her over what she has in store for us, plans for 2009 and Jason Cortez's secret Porn Star allias !

Your last single on the Tidy Girls E.P Centrefold has been getting a lot of attention of late as well as picking up radio one plays on Kutski’s show, where about do u get the inspiration for your tracks from?

Just recently I've been drawing ideas from the tracks and artists I play as Dumb Blonde, it's good to use different sounds and arrangement ideas from other genres and squeeze then into hard dance otherwise everything just sounds the same. I especially like Herve's stuff at the moment.

You have recently collaborated with Lisa lashes for an E.P on her Lashed label as well as Vinylgroover for his Traffic label, what exciting collabs have u lined up for the future?

I've done one with Technikal due out next year (Give It To Me) which is rather good and I worked with Audiohedz recently on a track (So Addicted) which is coming out on their new label. Watch out for them as they're dedicated and really talented. I'm going to be doing some more stuff with Lisa, and a special new project for Tidy next year. There' s loads of other stuff I've got planned for next year which should keep me out of trouble which I'll be announcing soon on the forums.

Its coming to the end of 2008 already how has it been for you in general and how’s 2009 shaping up?

2008 was really good actually, a really good Ibiza season at Eden for Advanced/Tidy, loads of releases, a compilation, all the main festivals, it's absolutely flown. I've got the Big Reunion Winter Music Festival this weekend and next weekend where I'm doing Dumb Blonde and Anne Savage sets, that's my last big event before Christmas & NYE. 2009 looks good, a few far flung gigs and lots of productions...

You have been playing on the Edinburgh seen for as long as I can remember playing for the likes of ‘She Bang’ at the legendary ‘Wilkie House’ and ‘Taste’ before we nabbed you for Nuklearpuppy how do you think the scene in Edinburgh ahs changed over the years?

Listen, I don't think I have ever had a bad night in the whole of Scotland let alone Edinburgh, and although some people I used to play to may have stopped going out, the ones that have replaced them are as much into a having a good night out as back in the day.

How would you describe your current sound?

I'm enjoying playing out a lot at the minute, there's loads of good tunes around at the minute, it's as though everyone's raised their game and putting the hours in the studio. I'm making more music than ever and It seems to be going down well. So across the board I'm playing tough with big sounds.

Its our xmas party and my pre birthday celebrations what special xmas surprises have you in store for our event?

I'll be pulling out a few Christmas crackers especially for you guys...
