It saddens me to say that we have lost our venue and home Luna after 7 years of being there we weren’t even given enough time to put on one last party for all of the regulars who have show support over the years and made the venue what it is! We were made aware by management that the venue was to close at the end of Feb. after NYE so this sudden closure is a shock to us!

We are currently looking for a new venue to home Nuklearpuppy events but this is not an easy task being that there is very little on offer in Edinburgh at this moment in tie, so please bear with us, there will be more parties and if nothing regular is confirmed then a big last party to finish things off in style!

Due to this fact Nuklearpuppy's next event with Scot Project is now cancelled and we will reschedule this date for Frank when we have a new venue sorted.

Why not check out GHQ as a venue, Vibe which also was at Luna has now moved there still on a tuesday, its worth a shot and its in the same area as Luna

we dont do independant club nights mate,
it's all inhouse entertainment and it's a
predominately gay venue hence the reason
vibe has moved there but that is because
it's a gay club twistedmista.......

and there is a music policy of no hardhouse,
trance or drum&bass!!

Thanks for the suggestion but I dont think GHQ would suit Nuklearpuppy events, regardless of it being a predominately gay venue or not... Nuklearpuppy WILL be back in some way or form, but with the current clubbing climate a little time to re-group and evaluate what is best for the night and what venue or venues will suit it best may be advisable.
Its better to come back as strong as before or bigger than just take the first venue available and after nearly 8 years its nice to have a little break, but rest assured its not the end of Nuklearpuppy just yet, theres some life in the old dog yet :)

Nuklear pup needs a good home, not just any old home. It would ruin it if it were held in too commercial a venue or somewhere where it would perhaps attract the wrong crowd. I've seen good club nights held in the wrong venue and its horrible!

Puppy is away for some respite, and hopefully when it comes back it will be full of energy and we can have the mother of all reunions!

Although f*ck knows what we are gonna do until then.

*Opens door to suggestions of good trance/hard dance nights without too much travelling*.........

IndepenDance at Studios should be worth a pop now. Got Preach in March and there aint many options at the mo!

Never went to Nuklearpuppy for the last few years but had many many a good night there, used to go religiously every month for about 3-4 years. First time Marco V was there was awesome and def one of my favourite nights btw if anyone wants a blast from the past and to see us all young and supersmashed haha nuklearpuppy MARCO V
, the 2nd time was great too. Also really enjoyed Mistress Barbara. Met many great people there and made lots of new friends.





On another note, I also remember Oxygen and it was awesome, one of my very first clubbing experiences back when I was a sneaky underager and all my mates were at eros or revolution haha.

Always meant to try and make it down so now i have no excuse! Got an mixes floating around to give us an idea of what to expect?

good lad. basically we straddle most genre's from proggier house stuff right up to the funky techno (bosh) tht eddie used to play when he was good. Not big fans of the hard dance tht puppy is renowned for tho :)

the troops have provided one have a listen. Ive not heard Hammond's yet but Stevie and Rosco's are good. Cept tht Rosco's a right tadger ;)
