The hassle that was incurred by me and my mate in trying to get thru to the 'burgh from Glasgow on Saturday night was indeed a saga of biblical proportions. However as soon as we arrived at the event all was forgotten.

We walked into the main area to find Dirty South proving only too well why he's considered the 'man of the moment' on the Electro House scene. Smiles and whoops of joy were commonplace and frequent throught his set, which can only be described as phenomenal. His use of loops and bust-your-ass basslines was just perfect. I danced like I haven't danced in months! The expertly assembled sound system worked a treat and the ears were truly satisfied.

In the second room, Kerri Chandler was whipping up a funky frenzy among the crowd that had gathered to see the house legend spin his stuff. Supported by an expert percussionist, even Kerri himself seemed touched by the response he got from the totally up-for-it crowd that seemed to be in abundance throughout the entire event. The only thing that let the Bacardi B-Bar room down were the prices at the Bacardi Bar.

Back next door, Erick Morillo had arrived and as usual, did not fail to work his crowd up into a storm. His hands on attitude and expert use of the CDJ's had the desired effect and everyone left satisfied.

I have to say this was one of the best nights out I've had for absolutely ages and as a Promoter myself, the guys who organised the night should be proud of themselves.
