Another basement bar on the George Street. Good looking bar with low lighting and dark décor. Another bar with an interesting food menu supplying oriental foods such as Asian broths and Japanese tempura. Music is central to the Opal Lounge experience whatever the time of day, and their resident DJs - assisted by an outstanding music system - provide a chilled soundtrack for those long laid-back afternoons. Opal lounge is a quality place and the cocktails are arguably the finest in Edinburgh – certainly worth a visit.
