Lakota…18 spectacular years from the current owners…..
Lakota opened its doors in 1992, and quickly became established as one of the UK’s leading dance clubs. Lakota has played a key role in putting Bristol on the map as a thriving centre for club culture. The club has attracted many of the best national and international guest DJ’s, along with quality residents and local talent.
Many up and coming DJ’s have also made their mark on the club, and many aspiring DJ’s dream of playing main stage at the club.

Lakota thru time…..
The Lakota club was originally built in the 18th century as a malthouse and storehouse, and was first owned by the Stokescroft brewery. Also built around the same time as the adjoining now unused Coroners Court. The brewery closed in 1911 and was then used as a ‘beer bottlers’, then a printing works in the early 1970’s, and then eventually converted into a dance club. The club now provides a truly underground feel and ideal rave venue, with many promoters holding nights there.
