Yep, you heard right, Bass Kleph- one of THE biggest names in House music, and owner of the massive Vacation Records (home to Dj's like Wolfgang Gartner, Nick Thayer, Hook N Sling, Stupid Fresh, Twocker and so much more) is playing a two hour set at the Cavern. That's right, the 220 capacity Cavern Club! Crazy, we know.
This is easily the most exclusive booking we have ever made, and seeing as he is playing a tiny total of just FOUR British dates this year, if you want to see him this side of Australia in the next 5 years or so, this is your chance.
We are aware that Joint are hosting a massive night at the lemmy on the same night, but because of the fact that Bass Kleph lives in Australia and very rarely tours England this was the only available date he had for us, so we jumped at the opportunity to bring him over. Afterall, it's not often we here in the South West get the chance to see a DJ like this who's never been anywhere near Exeter before.. Also, with Advance tickets being a paltry £6 (No booking Fee!) it'll be LESS than half the cost of an advance ticket to the lemmy. The cavern will also be open a full hour and a half later than the lemmy, so for those of you that want the party to carry on after Joint's wicked line up then you know where to go! (Tickets on the door will be cheaper after 2am.)
It's extremely likely that people are going to be coming from all over the South West for this show because it's such a rare booking, so we'd advise making your mind up about where you want to be on the night pretty sharpish when tickets go on sale because they're going to be in high demmand.
As well as the usual Wreckreation and Cab V dj's playing slots at this show we have special guest Louis Guerrero making his Wreckreation debut from the widely loved Hard Dance night Pam's House!
This is also a very special night for all of us, as it is the LAST Wreckreation night for the foreseeable future, as all of us will be at uni come October. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of the beautiful people that have been coming to our events over the last year and a half and who turned Wreckreation from a dream into a reality! What better way to see us off than a good old fashioned knee's up at our last show :)
If you've not yet heard of Bass Kleph, get to know!
