Matt Kennedy :

Matt moved to Bristol for the purposes of studying at University, when there he immersed himslef in the massively thriving dance scene that the City has to offer and getting involved by playing at events such as Secret Sanchez and The Zoo. Now currently a resident for Switch who play host to their events at the mighty Timbuk2 in Bristol, at their events he has featured alongside some of the greatest and hottest future prospects that the House and Techno scene has to offer.. like Alex Celler, Terry Francis, Dave Angel, Deetron, Kind Unique, Burnski, Sebo K, Claude Von Stroke, Mike Monday, Alex Niggemann, Sascha Dive and more.

Matt can also be found playing regular guest slots at various other nights in Bristol such as Just Jack, Herd, Play, Fruity Antics and the Bugged Out events when they are in town, plus he has also had the pleasure of playing alongside the legendary Sven Vath at one of his Coccoon parties in Birmingham!

Not only satisfied with playing House and Techno he is a resident at Freejive, who host their monthly parties in the depths of Dojo's, one of the best underground venues in Bristol, allowing him to play a more Disco and Leftfield style of music.. playing alongside music legends such as Bill Brewster and Greg Wilson.


JG Alim :

Originally hailing from Calgary in Canada, then moving on to Guernsey and finally residing in Bristol.. Justin Gettings has been promoting and DJ'ing at parties since 2003.. Under the name of Buoyancy he has hosted events anywhere possible in the form of on Boats, in Clubs, in Forests and Under Bridges.. Still going strong it has given him the chance to play alongside some of the most talented DJs and artists around including, The Glimmers, Jimpster, Touche, Spirit Catcher, Justice, Jody (Way out West), Chris Duckenfield, Jamie Anderson, Switch, Annie Mac, Ame, Luke Solomon, Style of Eye, Riton, Ben Watt and more.

Using all of these influences to his full advantage Justin has expanded his knowledge into music production and is currently collaborating on joint projects with various top producers as well as concentrating on his own material which in the past has been described as “a fusion of techy, glitchy goodness, sometimes deep, sometimes epic but always maintaining the fundamental element of groove”.

With Justin’s first solo release on Quimika Records under his JG Alim guise being played on dance floors from Stockholm to Santiago and his release "Make Your Mind Up" being signed to Terry Francis' and Nathan Coles imprint Wiggle earlier this year.. he is surely someone to keep and eye on!
