Andy D is no stranger to festivals, having played at the infamous Glastonbury for seven years, and now the Chew the Fat! arena for Antiworld’s 070707 festival gives us the opportunity to hear just why they kept asking him back! His blend of deep tech-edged break beat, deep house and techno has seen him play from his humble beginnings 17 years ago at the legendary POD parties to regularly rocking the Ministry of Sound at his monthly residency, The End and hosting Chew the Fat!s weekly radio show. From Europe to South America, Andy D’s gigs have seen him play alongside Trentmoller, Steve Angello, Paul Woolford, Skool of Thought, Sebastian Ingrosso, Aquasky, Drumattic Twins, Slyde, Precision Cuts, Autobots, Merka, PMT, Soul of Man, Nick Thayer, Rennie Pilgrim, Nick Fanciulli and Paul Arnold to name but a few. And as one half of Porno Breaks he’s released tracks under FAT!, Sinister and Control Breaks as well as remixed Xpress 2, Underworld and Scissor Sisters with his new label, Sic Recordings, looking to keep those banging beats coming!

Glastonbury about 1994 or 1995, really muddy , my best mate did a running bomb into a HUGE puddle of mud and covered these 2 coppers from head to foot, classic, they tried to catch him…… No chance!! I think a little drop of excited wee escaped from me, (I suppose you had to be there but it was magical!)
