Well, well, well.....

Wat a fookin night!!

Marc, Emma & I arrived @ 10pm to the heaviest search i'v ever had in my life. I mean - i'dv been better just walkin up to the steward bollock nikkid and bending over for inspection. Hahaha. Serious man!!

Anyway, we went straight up to the main room to ch ch check it out. It was still pretty quiet at that time, but Dj Equazion & MC Boff had them rockin their arses off.

Next up was the sounds of Mr Notorious Vinyl himself - Marc Smith wiv MC Korrupt alongside. Marc gave us one of his most wikked sets of Upfront Freeform Hardcore and the crowd were loving it. At one point i even heard him playin the Badger tune which i think is fkn wikked. Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Mushroom, Mushroom, Snaaaaaake. Hahaha, wikked!! The crowd were lovin it. RESPECT TO DA SMIFFY!!

After Smiffy was the sounds of Evolution Records very own "The Doctor" b2b JFX wiv MC Voyager alongside. These 3 laddies had the place rokkn!! The highlight of the set for me was when The Doctor played Scott Browns "BOOOOMSTIIIIIICK" in the main room. The place went crazy. Both me and Copey cldnt believe our eyes when we seen how rockin the place went wiv that tune. Rescept big guy for that!! Two tumbs fresh!! Hahaha.

Next up was the one and only PA of the night..UB. Personally i didn't like them, but "some" of the crowd did. At one point their whole set up crashed and burned to the floor. Quite a few ppl i met and spoke to about UB that night said that MC BEE was quite arrogant on the mic. "AM BACK, AM BACK, AM BACK IN BUSINESS" yeah yeah mate...watever!!! Thats when i noticed bottles flyin @ them.

Next up was the tunage of Dj Technotrance wiv MC Cyanide alongside. Alex gave us all the old skool stuff. No bad set in my eyes, but the crowd were wanting more upfront uk hardcore by the looks of it.

That left us with the finale set of the evening. Raverbabys very own Mister Darren Styles along wiv Korrupt and Voyager on the mic. I have to say, i've only really seen Styles play out once before @ Bonkers in the Carling Academy in Glasgow and i have to say - he was OUTSTANDING!!! Wiv tunes like "Darren Styles - Getting better, Angel 69 - You're My Angel" etc etc. TOP MARKS TO STYLES. U knows it bruvvaaaaa!!!!! The crowd were loving it BIG TIME. Seems like the UK Hardcore has finally found its place once again in the hearts of ppl by the looks of Friday nite.

Didn't get into the other rooms to check them out. Sorry guys!!

Lucky u mentioned me big man, great seein u lot 2 and i have to agree with every word u said, except i was a bit late arrivin so i missed Marc's set(i was not a happy bunny) ask Graham went on about it for a while.Hehe! I arrived to the sound of Gordon(the Doctor) playin 'Happy' which made me very much so;.).
And i agree bout styles he was Flawless! Wot an end 2 a mega nite. More of the same soon hopefully!
