Marco V does the Essential Mix LIVE!

This article is about COLOURSFEST '07 @ Braehead Arena in Glasgow (UK), Sat 02 Jun 2007

If you’re not at the massive Coloursfest in Glasgow next weekend, then make sure you’re near a radio or online at 1am sharp, as Radio 1’s Essential Mix brings you MARCO V LIVE. Marco is fresh from rocking Gatecrasher Summer Sound System last weekend with a devastating peak-time set so it’s safe to say he’s not just getting warmed up he’s already fully on fire for a packed summer of festivals!

Marco is no stranger to the Essential Mix, and this one coming up will be his 4th, making him a firm favourite. His mix from Coloursfest will showcase the V man in his element, on the big stage, rocking festival capacity crowds. You can be sure the raucous Scottish clubbing hardcore will be out in force to add to the electrifying atmosphere making this an Essential Mix to remember.

You know what you’re going to get with Marco V – rock solid, pumping, driving dance music mixed to perfection. Call it house, call it techno, call it tech-trance, it’s impossible to categorise. We call it the V:SOUND – utterly unique to Marco V. His ever-evolving style and passion for new music is what keeps him at the forefront of dance.

Make sure you tune in to BBC Radio 1 at 1am BST Sunday 3rd June (check the world clock for regional timings). If listening via the internet is your thing, then go to bbc.co.uk/radio1/essentialmix and click on LISTEN NOW. If you’re out raving it, and want to tune in later, or if you want to relive those Coloursfest memories then you can! Just go to the same URL at any time in the week after and click LISTEN AGAIN!
