Each to their own & all that mate but the music around the now,especially trance bores the shit out of me.

Being honest, I think Trance is at it's best ever just now. The euphoric stuff is amazing and the proggy stuff has taken a new direction recently and I think that is sounding amazing just now.

I'm also getting into my House a bit these days, not the funky shit, but the proggy and deep stuff.

Techno totally bores me though unless its totally banging.

Used to like UK Hardcore but now it concentrates too much on cheesy female vocals instead of a good tune.

And I'll always like the Gabber.

Tbh i don't mind the proggy stuff but i don't find the 'euphoric' stuff euphoric at all-i think it's too stop start,doesn't go anywhere for me.Not the way the real trance music was like in the mid 90's-2000.

I've always loved my house music,proggy,deep & tech but i don't think there is any imagination in music right now anywhere.

Producers just seem to be gettin old tunes & reworking them.It's boring & unoriginal.I don't follow music as religously as i used to but i seriously can't tell you the last time i heard a tune & thought 'fuckin hell!!'.

Techno for me is the same as you,unless it's bangin i'm not into it-the minimal stuff is just gash.

As for the hardcore i loved it when iwas about 14-18,my mate was a hardcore DJ & we were right into it but again that scene has been ruined by cunts like Darren Styles.

Yeah agree with what you say apart from the euphoric stuff, it gets the hairs on my neck and arms standing up!

The sad thing about Darren Styles was that he actually used to do some decent stuff until vocal UK Hardcore became the norm again and then he just jumped on the shitey singy stuff bandwagon again. And all the wee hardcore nights used to be amazing, totally sound people, now the bams have started getting into it again and the atmosphere at the nights has went downhill. Poor show in general!
