ACCESSED THROUGH A LONG CORRIDOR, AKIN TO ENTERING A POST-APOCALYPSE BUNKER, THIS HAS TO BE GLASGOW’S MOST ORIGINAL VENUE. ONCE INSIDE IT BECOMES APPARENT THAT THE SOUNDHAUS AS A LIVE VENUE IS ALSO VERY PROBABLY THE BEST OF ITS SIZE IN GLASGOW (200-300 capacity). IN TERMS OF LAYOUT AND EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATION, THE MAIN ROOM BENEFITS FROM A RECTANGULAR SHAPE ALLOWING AN UNRESTRICTED VIEW OF THE STAGE FROM EVERY POINT.
THE BAR IS SITED AT THE OPPOSITE END OF ROOM FROM STAGE WITH A 16M x 8M FLOOR SPACE BETWEEN. IN ADDITION THERE IS A SMALLER (60-100 persons) ADJACENT ROOM SERVICED BY ITS OWN BAR. IDEAL FOR PRE/POST GIG NETWORKING OR VIP ROOM. THERE ARE ALSO TWO FULLY EQUIPED REHEARSAL STUDIOS ALLOWING THE POSSIBILITY OF PRE-GIG WARM UP. WHEN NOT HOSTING GIGS, THE MAIN VENUE ROOM IS AVAILABLE FOR USE AS A LARGE REHEARSAL/PRE PRODUCTION SPACE FOR VIDEO SHOOTS ETC.
