A big thank you to everyone who turned up for our latest Paranoid event, good to see some now familiar faces who continue to support all our events at Cafe Rene and also nice to see so many new people I hope you enjoyed the night as much as we did! Great atmosphere throughout the whole night from start to kicking out time after 4.00am .(see Photo gallery added,more than 5 this time lol)

Top draw sets as can always be expected from the Paranoid Residents with Gareth Yip setting the mood nicely early on with a deep and druggy groove up till midnight before Ioan Evo took over the rains with some upfront Grinding-Jacking Tech-Electro house before the high energetic sounds of Mr. Yip who rounded things off nicely with a fine upbeat house set. Thanks to everyone who kept their shuffle on through the smoke and the lasers on the dance floor I think I speak for all the djs to say that it is great to play for such a mad lively up-for-it crowd. Paranoid now really is the number 1 underground house night in Gloucestershire.

Next Paranoid instalment for Cafe Rene comes in 2 parts-Our usual Paranoid residency 1st Friday of the month May 4th will now followed by our brand new sister night on Sat May 5th -Paranoid-Stripped (Minimal and deep house night) so please join us and make a weekend of it (it will be a bank holiday weekend so plenty of time to recover!).

Over the coming Summer months Paranoid are lining up some unbelievable special parties for Gloucester with some top London djs from the Egg and the Cross coming down to spin for us and also a boat party so please watch this space for more information.

This was our first Paranoid event and it was a really fantastic night, great crowd and atmosphere. We're into our hardcore usually , but the sounds were great. Definitely up for the boat party!! wicked!

To be fair its taken the paranoid team a long time to sort it out BUT here we are and with what we've got planned for the future u can trust its in good hands!!! Dont forget, next month we hit both friday and saturday, the saturday being a more chilled night of deep house as opposed to Fridays Ass Swinging beats and dirty Electro sounds,,,

WELL WELL WELL!!!. What can i say! well i'll be god damned what a night. Atmosphere was electric. It had a sense of - " come in to the cellar and let yoursefelf go " to it. The crowd was amazing so thanks to you lot! you make it happen. The sets by Gareth and Ioan were phenominal and i had an amazing time behind those decks. What a lovely sight to see everybody getting down and dirty!. Can't wait til the next one! Double trouble next one baby. YEAH! ps thx for the pics Didge.

Not realy. glos not had much to cater for the underground music scene! But
that's all changing with PARANOID,FULL THROTTLE, BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!
BAR RIGA in stroud look like they have some cool nights
