But if this is the case why waste money on a 500d if you can do just as well on cam you got now ?

because i feel very limited by it already, for example it will only go up to f8, an 15secs is the longest exposure it has, other than that i cant complain! but if i want to take my photography that one step further, it needs to be done!!

So your admitting you cant do better on your bridge than a d-slr then

when it comes to shootin at clubs yes i can!!! dam u! lol

but if i want long exposures, to catch star trails, or want hyperfocus in a landscape shot that has a forground that leeds in2 the horizon! then yes i put my hands up!!!
