"Hardcore Raver" first event was hosting Arena 2 Hardcore at "Battle Arena". Further events will be put on throughout the year, resident DJ Headrush will be joined by guests and up and coming talent at "Hardcore Raver" events that are on.

I was originally djing hardcore at various nights and parties I put on, in and around portsmouth from 92-95. I changed the style of my music after 95' due to big hardcore parties dying out and a new generation of clubbers that were into hard house\ trance etc...

But in the last couple of years hardcore has become one of most popular types of dance music bringing with it old skool hardcore. So bookings for me (Headrush) are coming in again for playing 93-96 hardcore stuff. It has to be the most enjoyable music I play just due to how much hardcore clubbers love it and the vibe it gives off.

Gonna be a top night thursday at "Rinsed vs Hardcore Raver" as it's a project me and Small-Paul ("Rinsed" promoter) have been talking about since we did the first battle arena and sucess of that has led to this night a merger of drum and bass and hardcore.

With "Battle Arena" round 2 (wednesday 15th febuary) this will be a little taster of what's to come next week.
