As I said anyone is entitled to their opinion, and to be honest based on your chart above i'd rather be classed as "pants" than either "wank" or "no fucking comment" hahahah!

lol good call Jim m8! of course every1 has their own opinion, i'm a House music head and dj'd promoted for several years so those 3 places r not really my scene - am sure lots of pepes have a good time there tho....

im with you jason, not my cup o tea, but there obviously ARE people that enjoy it and do go every week, god knows how they can handle the same tunes every single time is beyond me tho....no offence jim.

Well i like Flares on a Monday, i'm not going to argue! I can buy a round of drinks and shots for me and 3 mates for £10 and act like a fool! I haven't found anywhere else that i can play giant Twister and Pin the pants on the dude (weird but was good fun at the time). It's something different and everyone i know no matter where they are will run to the dancefloor when Build me up buttercup, Don't stop me now by queen, Black Betty or 9 to 5 come on!

if u dont like a venue, dont got to it, its quite simple. Theres no need to start something like this. Every venue is going to promote itself, they would be a fool not to. People obviously like flares because its a succesful brand all over the uk.

well sed entity know this is an old subject just got on it some how i work in flares cleethorpes and woz interested in peoples points of view i am surprised how narrow minded people from your area are, how can people complain about going to a club and finding old people, i dont know weather your flares attracts the same crowds as ours but i would say about 50% of our custom is over 30`s so there is alot of younger people there too also the cheap weeknights we tend to have alot of the local dj`s in on the piss and they show great admiration for our dj`s as it is alot harder to keep the atmosphere good week after week while playing a restricted amount of tunes and to those who say flares isnt a night club think you need a bit of revision on the english dictionary ok x

I strongly agree, flares is a waste of a venue...BUT...GUILDFORD is a very strange crowd.
