Harpers frequented by celebs!
Harpers has established itself as Surrey's premier nightclub. Trendy decor and No.1 in cool lighting, none stop party action, 3 bars and a fantastic range of music by guest DJs, along with the VIP Lounge frequented by the celebrities, Harpers Nightclub is place to come and party.

(Lovin the bit about freguented by celebs! Who?? Like people from girl's aloud who beat up loo attendents!!?? When celebs resort to do something like that, I dont think they're celebs at all, which is exactly why nadine from girls aloud would fit right in!!!)

Can i just try and defend it.... well, sort of, Bar Mambo at least (its part of the Harpers empire)....

Bar Mambo has recently had a new manager, and he's really up for turning the place around. Its a really nice bar and has loads of potential (especially now that the weather is warmer and the whole front open's up!!!).

I've been DJing in there, along with friends, every Friday night for the last few weeks and the atmosphere has been great!!! Everyone has been really up for it and loving the house tunes that we've been pumping out....
We always add some extra lighting and projections down there to make it a bit more special and the dance floor is jumping all the way through till 2am.....

So... If you're bored of the same old cheesey crap that Guildford is known for (and arn't we all???), why not try coming to Bar Mambo one Friday and showing some support for a group of local DJ's who are trying to make a difference.....

Friday nights, Bar Mambo: House music all night long!!!!!

See ya there......

I'm sure I heard keith harris and orville go there regularly, and they have dogging sessions in the toilets.

Twas' cnutish clubs like that my friends that helped acid house to boom years ago, well that and copious amounts of gear, no one would go near those type of places listening to commercial nonsense when you could be (in the words of Paul Weller) going underground.. .

They are not serious clubs never have been or will be...

That said, I'm glad there will always be places like that, it keeps all the mugs in one place.
