House Proud.......Immense and intense
As we drove through the countryside following the Sat Nav into the darkest deepest woods we thought there must be some kind of mistake, surely there wouldn't be a house night out here! Alas we kept driving, and to our surprise we came across a polo club.....a very posh polo club. We drove through the big front gates and to our designated drivers delight were greeted with a dusty track. So for the next 3 minutes we were subjected to drifting round corners and skidding all over the place, got the car very dusty!

As we pulled into the car park we could feel the bass from the JBL sound system that was rocking the joint! We go in through he front door and are stopped by a bouncer "Got any ID mate" he asks us. Tell him we are on the guest list and he soon welcomes us in (good thing is though the bouncers were ID'ing nearly everyone, so there was no way under 18's were getting in). Half an hour at the bar and an empty wallet later we take to the dance floor!

The DJ's were playing some fantastic house music, ranging from funky to electro to classic to at times even a bit of hard house. The tunes really were immense and intense! All 3 of the DJ's were superb and mixing seamlessly, and the percussionist was really impressive! Sound system and laser show were very impressive! We stayed on the dance floor from about 11 right through till the end at 2! The great tunes and great DJ's kept us moving all night!

In summary, the House Proud Nights are not to be missed! The music is great, the sound system is superb and the venue is beautiful! Best of all, no chavs! The place was packed out with really nice gorgeous people!

Make sure you go to the next one on the 22nd June 2007! I'm gona be there!!!

If you want to appreciate some classic house in a fantastic setting then go. I think technically the dj's were good, the sound system was great and the crowd were up for it.

If they can make this a regular event through the summer and keep attracting punters it will succeed. There were not a huge amount of people there last time but hopefully that will change.

Get a car full and check it out. Hopefully the venue will allow the doors of the function room to open in the summer so people can sit outside etc. It'll give smokers a chance to sit outside and let people chill out etc. It would certainly give the night/venue an advantage when the smoking ban comes in.

Some seriously sexy women there, bring on the summer!!!
