Music : Funky House, Electro House, Dirty House, Deep House, Electro, Breaks, Funk and Rare Groove
Calling all House music enthusiasts! Beggars Belief is about to drop another Bank Holiday bonanza on Harrogate!
Sunday 28th May 2006, from 9pm-2am, we will be taking over Revolution in Harrogate for a night of hedonistic house. It's going to be a big one, line up confirmed below:-
The Electric Press (back2basics, The Key): A real home coming for Tom and Wes. In case you've been living in a bubble....these two Harrogate boys are being touted by Radio 1's Annie Mac, and Nic Fanciulli, as 2006's big breakthrough act in dance music!
They'll be bringing their amazing 'Live' show, including both Ableton, and some live vocals from Tom. The guys have just been on tour in Australia, and will be playing in Poland the week before BB, so they're getting around a bit. If that weren't enough (you lucky, lucky people...) The Electric Press will be supported by Beggars Belief residents, Stuart Lunn & Craig Cameron.
Craig has been promoting Mint Club Bank Holiday parties for years, and knows what it takes to put on a great night. He's also a rather good DJ! Having played the circuit 8 years he has got crowds rocking at back2basics & Asylum most recently.
His partner in crime, Stuart, has a residency at Revolution, and was unlucky to finish as a runner-up in Creams 2006 National DJ Competition. There were over 600 entrants to the competition, so not a bad result for a guy who's only been playing for 6 months!
Beggars Belief is all about having a great night, listening to great music, in a great venue. Revolution will have 2 rooms on the night 'Club Room' will be playing House, and will be home to The Electric Press' 12pm-2am main set. The 'Marble Room' will be upmarket, but down tempo. We hope that you join us for this very special event, you can join the BB mailing list by email : beggars.belief@hotmail.com
