Hastings could do with a club the size of Funktion Rooms really but we gotta make do with the venues we already have :)

Fluid isn't too small anyway, intimate venues tend to have a better atmosphere anyway,

I was just about to add this to the Fluid calendar! Not spotting this post beforehand I got a "duplicate" event!

I guess you didn't hear WHY - there was an assault near the DJ box about 3pm (might feature in Oberver tomorrow). Although I didnt witness it I think somone "glassed" another punter. I opened the back door to help Security kick him out and saw the glass stem. Therefore not Kele Le Roc's fault, just one individual who spoilt it 4 the rest of us! :(

Well it looked like blood on the end. I saw the punter who was hurt out the front and there was blood. Maybe I imagined blood on the end of the glass stem (spotters artistic licence?)

One thing about these nites, although people look at pix they dont register (even though it costs nothing) and spot themselves!

Mind U when I spotted at Moda the following nite one couple asked how much the photos would cost ie thinking I was a "flasher" in London or whilst UR on holiday - "lovely pic only $10!!!!!

To be fair registering is one major turn-off for web users.

If you're not a regular net using geek like myself the thought of tapping in loads of information seems pointless... I remember when registration forms took me 15 mins to do and frankly I couldn't be bothered - especially when I could just look for free :)

I do live here, and it doesn't really - I mean things like your house party are cool - I was referring to venues and stuff... Benbow for instance... Yuck!

As you say - one individual who spoils it for everyone.

On the plus side our security did get the idiot and he was arrested and is being charged. Luckily the victim wasn’t badly hurt as it could have been allot worse.

With regard to Kele le Rock my apologies go out to everyone who was waiting for her to perform. She did turn up but was over an hour and a half late so was unable to go on due the police wanting to review our cctv footage of the incident.

She is due to to come back to fluid in June. Will post details soon. There will also be a limited free guestlist for this event as way of a further apology for her not being able to perform at the previous event.
