WHAT A STUNNER!!

TONK has experienced some amazing parties since its birth 8 monthes ago...but TONK @ KRASH 14 // 09 // 07 was THE most electric, exciting, exhilirating HARD DANCE party to date!!

The change of venue, the lack of info posted, the not knowing...all looked a little bleak early September to be honest...we didnt know what was to become of the scheduled TONK party. But then, like a gift of god, an angel from the heavens, an RAC man when you're broken down on the a21 on a rainy January night...the Manager @ Krash (ALFIE) offered TONK the lifeline required...and lo we did party on!!!

WOO HOO!!

The TONK party itself was something from the promoters handbook - everything went amazingly well!!

The venue Krash is THE finest, cleanest, most intimate for miles around and with a little added camo, soundsystem, lazers and oil lights, it was transformed into a stompers paradise...even the AIR CON works!!!

By 10pm, the scene was most definately set - at this stage it was nail-bite city...had there been enough promotion in such a short space of time? Would the TONK faithful turn out in force? Would Spurs beat Arsenal the following day? (ok, that was a personal issue of mine!!)

As the front doors opened, the fears were met head on...and YES, there stood TONK stompers, LOADS OF EM, all itching to get inside and get on it!! It was reality check time (how dare we even contemplate such notions!!)

AND IT WAS ON...

MARK H - AKA Polysexual MAIN MAN / hard house legend / all round great guy / god!!

ABSOLUTELY SMASHED THE GRANNY OUTTA THE PLACE!!

Mark lived upto and surpassed all the amazingly positive reports...A supremely talented DJ, MARK H hammered out a set of THE hardest, bounciest house with a number of his own tracks and remixes which ALL hard dance DJ'S MUST have in their artilary (hint hint Mark!! I'll PM you my address haha!!)

KEEP EM PEELED FOR DEFO RETURN(S) TO TONK FOR MARK H!! OHHHH YESSSSSSS!!!

NIK S - AKA Housepervert / TONK RESIDENT + KEY PROMOTER / FUTURE HERO FOR SURE!!

Yet again, NIK bettered the set he played the last time, which in turn was better than the set before, and before, and before...NIK S is a name to watch out for, FACT!! He gets better and better and better!! NIK S tore it out to get the TONK faithful fully heated, whipping the dance floor into a frenzy with his driving, choppy, tricky styles and flawless mixing ability!! The man is a legend already and is gonna be a MASSIVE NAME before long!!

DAVE SPITZ - B4 MAIN PROMOTER / TONK HERO / OUTSTANDING DECKNICIAN!!

Once again, Dave Spitz made the super long journey from Brum, along with Mark H + Dean Toney. However, you wouldnt know he'd just drove for hours. The very moment Dave entered the venue, the energy levels rose dramatically...it was tangible!! Dave Spitz is fast becoming a TONK legend - Dave already has his own TONK fanclub and it is no surprise!

Dave, once again, delivered the kind of set that dreams are made of. His cutting, chopping technique, combined with the hardest, most energetic tracks brought the TONK loyalists to climax over and over!! What a man!! Dave always keeps his sets fresh and is never afraid to try new things, which always work too!! The man is flawless!!

YOU DONT NEED TELLING...YOU'LL BE SEEING A LOT MORE OF DAVE SPITZ AT TONK!!!

DEAN TONEY - B4 RESIDENT / TONK REGULAR / SCRATCH GOD!!!

Dean Toney is amazing...ok i've used that word alot...but it is the TRUTH!! OUTSTANDING DJ!! Dean dealt a slice of filthy dark hard house pleasure to the TONK stompers...ramming every bite down their hungry gullets..and they lapped it up!! Dean has some supreme abilities behind the decks and all were displayed during his 60 minutes of pure audio-orgasmic harrrrrrrrrrd house!!

WATCH THIS SPACE WITH BAITED BREATH...DEAN TONEY WILL BE UNLEASHED ON THE TONK BOSHERS AGAIN AND AGAIN!!

HUSTLER AKA KRISTINA OLIVER / PRO PRO PRO SPOTTER / THE FINEST SPOTTER ON THE SCENE!!

For the second time HUSTLER captured the very essence of TONK in a series of photo's like no other i have ever scene!! They are simply amazing and display the TONK faithful in all their gorgeous sexiness!! Seriousley, i would have had this review finished hours ago...but i could NOT stop looking at HUSTLER'S photos of the night!!

There's only 3 certainties in life...Death, Taxes....and HUSTLER snapping away at all future TONK parties!! The lady is just toooooooo good!!

it was a top nite loved every minute of it. Venue was spot on, made us all bounce together and there was planty of room for a wee bit of chillin oh and AIR CONDITIONING, perfect. and love the location, ok it means a bit more advertising coz its out the way but yes i love krash, and never thought i wood say that!!

all dj's were bang on the mark, was a nite of anthems and was awesome and though there was a tiny bit of cheese every set was perfect and kept our stomp on.
and have to agree that kris is amazin with or without a camera in hand. the only photo ive ever had taken that makes me look human..
met loads of fellow dsi'ers and we really are all from the same genes love it.

Also, gotta say I had a blinding night, didn't expect Tonk @ Krash to be as good as it was, but it was properly phat, all the DJs smashed it, the crowd were wicked, can't wait for the next one...:-)

We was late promoting this month due to venue change and all that, Me and Nick didnt get the posters around town untill Tuesday, Still a good turnout though!!

no not pomotion but location finding. coz its a bit out of the way if there was a masive poster banner thingy it wood make things easier to find.

lol, there was a few people that walked in and there faces dropped when they heard the music, Some of them actually stayed though.

thre were quit a few new faces which is all good and if they are new to the harder side things wot a way to loose ur cherry!!!

hopefully Tonk will educate these people and take them to the harder side :)
