Top Ganoosh!!!
well after entering what i thought was the wrong place it was pleasant to find such a warming, relaxing venue packed out with everything you need to relax.
kicking off at 7, The Scientist was the first to grace the decks with his minimal house venturing into funky and slightly uplifting house with spot on mixing and trickery.
SKUM (keiron) got on the decks 90 mins later throwing out sounds from indie ska to d n b to funk and house and everything in between all mashed up with trickery only keiron could pull off. wicked stuff!
Shaun G (Ginge) on last with a selection of deep / funky and prog house. a lovely touch to finish the night. Shaun's really getting better and better all the time. look out for him.
The turn out was good with people staying from start to finish. a few regular faces showed up.
a nice, relaxing atmosphere was achieved. it was a great night. well done Shaun. Bring on the next one. Happy new year.

Yup i agree Nik it was really chilled and i loved loved the ambient sounds. It made a change from the common night out in hastings.

atmosphere was really friendly and the food and beer was spot on!

Even my mates i brought down that are not into house in the slightest said they will come again so i think thats a good sign of a universal night in hastings.

Thanks Ginge and were well up for the next one.

cheers guys really pleased with the way it went big thanks to mike and kieran playing his own unique style of chilled music lol.......

i love the way that it turned in to a kaotic oraganised open deck night towards the end of the night i'm glad everyone enjoyed themselves and are up for more. I spoke to rob at the end of the night and they are currently in the process of of trying to obtain a later licence so finger crossed on that and hopefully it will be able to maybe start later and finish later.....

if any of you have any idea for the place i.e less tables and chairs, decks in the right place or music you might want let me know

I was gonna ask about a later license!

Top stuff Ginge, really good night - it was great to have something different. Like I said, next time I'm up for playing again, it was wicked. Might have to raise the mixer up slightly, at 6ft 2 my back was done in after playing... :)

Saying that the Organic Beer certainly had medicinal values.

No it was a great night... Currently dragging piccies from that and NY off the camera now!

I totally agree with everyone elses comments Ginge, well worth the trip from Dover altho it would of been nicer to be on later so hopefully they will get a later licence and we can all get even more drunk off the organic beer! (and eat more of Niks garlic bread eh Mike?!)

Its a lovely, cosy venue and like Dave said its nice to actually sit down and chat to people. I think this will go off in a big way Ginge, well done mate x
