Saturday December 6th sees Elevation return to the mainroom of the Jailhouse in Hereford for a festive Hard Trance celebration! As a special present to you all we will be celebrating Christmas in style this year by bringing you one of the scene’s biggest hard trance/hardstyle producers! Yes that’s right, for one night only we will be flying the mighty UBERDRUCK all the way from Germany for a dj set in the jailhouse that is not to be forgotten! Backed up by a killer line-up, this is not to be missed! Hold on to your Santa hats for this one!

UBERDRUCK
The story of Überdruck began in one of the first techno clubs in Germany, the Reactor Club, in NRW, and was founded in 1993 by Dirk Nothroff. With more than 10 years DJ experience he initiated the club, working as resident DJ under the name “The Crow”. After 4 years Dirk handed the club over to his successor, Timo Maas, so he would have more time for DJ bookings and to produce his own style of music and build his personal studio. After separating from his former production partner after three successful years work he met his current studio partner, David Rzenno, and sharing musical interests, they decided to get together and build up a fresh new style of music. From this Überdruck was born.

Their first Überdruck collaboration was ‘Drugface’. A remarkable picture disc released at the beginning of 2001. ‘Drugface’ had an unequalled resonance within the club and DJ-scene and also found its way into the playlists of many radio stations in the UK (Judge Jules, Dave Pearce – Radio One). The second and third releases ‘Now Or Never’ and ‘Bloody Slut’ continued with the success and were licensed to numerous worldwide compilations.

In a short time the Überdruck Label has become one of the biggest selling techno/hardtrance/hardstyle labels in Germany and the UK, where a lot of other successful producers have found a platform for their impressively unique style of music.

The Überdruck DJ sound and style is very popular throughout the world. Dirk takes responsibility for most of the worldwide DJ bookings although David sometimes joins him on tour. Überdruck perform on a regular basis in the UK for Helter Skelter, Slammin Vinyl, Escape, Goodgreef, Frantic, Antiworld, Tidy, Tranzaction, Dance Academy, Technology, Bionic and loads more. They’ve toured Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Poland, Finland, Canada, Switzerland and much of the rest of Europe.

SHOCK:FORCE (MATT THOMAS AND SULLY)
Coming from the city of Swansea, Sully has had many musical influences that have shaped his love for Trance/Hard trance. As he gained more experience he had the opportunities to play a number of times at different venues. As time went on, Sully turned his hand to the production side of dance music. He quickly learnt how to use production software such as Cubase SX, Reason 2.5, Sound Forge, and Recycle. Sully now has a studio in Swansea and Cardiff, where he produces a range of Hard Trance, Trance and Hardstyle. His influences production wise include Dark by Design, JK Walker, Lee Haslam, Scot Project, Guyver, Vandall, Technikal and Alphazone.

Matt Thomas always had a huge love for trance and started his Dj career back in 1999. Since then Matt has gone from strength to strength from playing his style of uplifting, euphoric, hard trance at free parties in his early years as a DJ right through to club appearances with some of south and west Wales' biggest promotions including BIONIC, BREATHE, JUSTICE, HARDER @ ESCAPE, 140 BPM & GENESIS and currently has a residency at FRESH IMPACT and is a regular fixture at Inner Rhythm hard dance event - Eurythmic. In early 2008 Matt turned his hand to producing and currently has 3 tracks under his belt helping him gain respect from some of the industries top DJ's.
With his proactive attitude towards the music scene and his love for all genres of dance music it is no wonder that the future lays bright for Matt. This year has been incredible for him and he promises to deliver even more infectious, euphoric sounds in 2009.

Recently Sully and Matt have teamed up to form the mighty SHOCK:FORCE. The collaboration of these two dj’s/producers is a welcome arrival to the scene and they are guaranteed to rock Elevation!

TAURUS
As Elevation’s resident, Dj Taurus is renowned for consistently delivering pounding hard trance sets at every event! And this one will be no different! As well as promoting Elevation he also keeps himself busy in the scene by regularly playing for such nights as TRAUMA WARD and EMOTION and has also appeared at RUDE AWAKENING and JOURNEY.

CHOJIN
Chojin regularly plays for Spunky at the Jailhouse and so can often be seen hammering out the most banging hardstyle! As this will be his first appearance at Elevation expect this boy to make a good impression with his entertaining antics behind the decks!

NITE-E
Nite-E is a regular at Elevation and also for the Trauma Ward in South Wales. His awesome selection of Hard Trance and Hardstyle will undoubtedly warm up this Christmas bash with a bang!

MC Nite-E will also host the night on the microphone and there may also be a special guest appearance from MC Dare!
