Ilogik

Ilogik started out playing Hip hop and Italian House before moving onto early hardcore (what’s known now as oldskool) playing stuff on labels such as suburban base, impact , reinforced , moving shadow. From here he got into happy hardcore under the name E-logic, during this time he produced hardcore tracks for a number of years for Essential Platinum which is Dougals label and his first hit was called "kick your legs" which samples the strike "your sure do" vocal with great affect. He then secured a residency at the legendary Asylum club at Bowlers in Manchester and found himself playing all over the country. After visiting the awe inspiring Sundissential, a name and musical style change came about. He started making Hardhouse tunes thereafter and started his own label Elasticman, which is now on its 38th release.

As one of the most consistent and in demand Hard Dance djs and producers in the world ilogiks success owes much to his innovative and uncompromising style not only with his music but also with his turntablism skills. He is an inspiration to many.

Ian M

Ian M is the original Hard house DJ and still the best.

For eight years in the ‘90s, the Leicester prodigy played a central role in the success of the most important after-hours club in British dance music history, Trade, the most influential club in the annals of hardness. The fruitful relationship with Trade afforded the Godfather of hard house a number of memorable career highlights. These include playing to an audience of 250,000 at the Love Parade in Leeds, teaming up with Danny Tenaglia at Twilo in New York and headlining Dance Valley in Amsterdam alongside Carl Cox. Ian’s more recent successes at the epicentre of the hard universe are as notable and widespread, as his much-admired residencies at Sundissential, Insomniacz, Storm, Twist, Sinergy, Fuel, Insekt and now A+E testify. He’s never been described as a prolific producer, but when he does deliver a new tune it tends to be an event rather than just a record coming out. Who can forget the phenomenal global hysteria surrounding his timeless masterpiece ‘Crazy Pills’ when it first appeared?

Ask any Hard house DJ to cite their influences and you can bet that Ian M is near the top of their list, and his pervasive influence shows no sign of waning.

Cookie and Gooderz

Cookie and Gooderz are two DJs hailing from Leeds. They have both been residents for York's leading and longest running hardhouse night - 'SAVAGED' since spring 2005 and were also made residents of 'The Howard' in Sheffield in spring 2007. They’ve also played at reputable nights such as 'Housewives Choice' 'Glasshouse' 'Oh my GOD!', 'Shine', ‘Blessed’, and Invasion. In early 2007 they started producing. For their first track they teamed up with a talented, up and coming producer/DJ Simon Paul and made the track - Hey Fu*k Knows. A quality first production, which was released on the monthly ‘Hard Heart CD’. Soon after they produced 'Beat Feelin' which was quickly signed to a new digital label - 'Presence Hard'. Both tracks featuring the hard and hoovery sound which they are quickly gaining a reputation for. 2008 looks set to be a big year for these two on both the DJ and production front.

Rons De

A+E resident Rons De may be better known for playing Hardcore as a resident for the legendary ‘Spunky’ under his DJ Ironside guise, but the big man lists the Tidy Boys as his biggest musical influence and its easy to see why. With ten years experience behind the decks and a set full of upfront ‘Tidy style’ hard dance he certainly knows how to work a crowd. As well as DJing for two of the Jailhouse’s top nights, he also designed and administrates the Jailhouse web site.

Neil C

Neil is a hard working, versatile DJ, turning his decks from dirty electro/house all the way up the spectrum to full on filth, keeping the crowds firmly on the dance floor. He’s not afraid to show off his technical ability with head spinning effects and turntabalism which often lures clubbers to the DJ booth to see what the hell is going on behind there! His passion and love for the music shines through and his sets never fail to please even the most narrow minded of clubbers.

The Onacock Brothers

It has been said that the Onacocks are nothing but a myth, made up purely to scare the hardened filth lover into dancing to a bit of hard funk. But low and behold they actually exist. Whether its Funky Techno, Hard Funk or a slab of Classic Hardhouse the Onacocks have never lost sight of the fact that music is fun, and with over 3 years experience in entertaining the early crowd, their sets are most definitely that.
