DEFECTIVE AUDIO (LIVE) Dom Sweeten(Defective Audio) is nothing less of a household name in the hard dance scene. With his various aliases he seems to have a firm lock on most record boxes this side of the solar system. Over the years he has built himself up to be a well respected remixer, producer and live artist in the dance music scene. Dom's roots stem from the start of the '90's where he began his musical career blagging small dj sets at obscure outdoor raves and warehouse parties across oxfordshire and the south. A year into the rave explosion he discovered the utter joy of hooking up a TB303 to a TR909 drum machine and away he went. A couple of years were spent gigging in and around Oxford with some friends while attending many of the illegal parties and raves all over the UK. In 1994 he hooked up with Superfast Oz at a beach party in Brighton, moved down and together they enjoyed an eventful residency at Energized, a Techno Trance night at Brighton's Warehouse Club. Dom and Oz continued to work together at Brighton's beach parties until Dom left the UK shores with his soon to be wife Simone to spend nearly a year dj'ing in Ayia Napa, Cyprus. Here he ditched all street cred and pleased the Minos Bar's crowds with cheesy house and club tunes whilst necking free shots of whatever he was passed. Having saved a huge wedge of cash, Dom and Simone then swiftly fled the island on a long boat to some other Greek islands before returning to Brighton. Then it was back to business.... Dom quickly got things moving with Kaktai Records along with Oz and together they began their onslaught of the then named hard house and trance scene. Remixes flew in and an impressive discography grew along with huge respect from established dj's and labels. Strong support from the Trade dj's and Judge Jules helped to quickly push the Kaktai and OD404 names into the limelight. The studio trickery Dom possesses has evolved greatly over the years along with his roots in the UK dance scene, he has built upon this talent and is now one of the core producers in the hard house scene. Dom now continues to release highly crafted cutting edge tunes under his Defective Audio and Base Graffiti aliases while still finding time to fit in exclusive engineering work for many up and coming dj's and producers. Recent involvement with projects like the Tidy Producer Series and the Inspirations For A Harder Generation album have helped push Dom Sweeten into a well earned limelight. JP + JUKESY JP & Jukesy’s success can be partly attributed to the fact that they are extremely proficient and knowledgeable DJs across the entire scope of hard-house. They are also natural clubbers at heart and when they play, they do so knowing exactly what their audience wants to hear. Together, they are as natural as cheese & biscuits, Batman and Robin, or Del Boy and Rodney; and like these examples JP and Jukesy are have different personalities and qualities which compliment each other - by capitalizing on each others strengths they are a collective - an amalgam which is neither one nor the other but a combination of the two. This is the trademark style of JP & Jukesy. A+E residents: The Onacock Bros - rP - Rons De. Also appearing on the night are the ever popular A+E residents Rons De, rP, & The Onacock Brothers. All residents have generated a large following from The Jailhouse regulars due to their fantastic tune selection and their friendly crowd interaction. If the headliners aren't enough for you then this will provide more than a tastey appetizer! With over 20 years of combined DJing experience between them, A+E's finest know exactly what it is a resident DJ should provide and you the raver will consider yourself well and truely warmed up for the main course.
