The Rye is situated in the town centre of High Wycombe, a short walk from the High Street. The park covers an area of more than 22 hectares (53 acres) and is the second largest park in the district. The Rye is host to many event in parks and catering outlets are stationed around the park, including at the swimming pool. One of these events is the Peoples Festival; The biggest live music festival in Buckinghamshire and the pride of High Wycombe. The open air swimming pool always attracts many visitors and there is a small children's play-ground with swings and roundabout.
