Every now and then we put on an extra special event at Remix where people flock in their hundreds, and the little market town of Hitchin has no idea what just hit it! Well… Saturday 31st October 2009 is going to be one of THOSE parties! Electric Boogaloo is back for our second and FINAL installment of the year @ REMIX, and boy do we have a treat for you!

The Boogaloo crew are going all out on the production for this event with LED Projector screens, Fire Eaters, Stilt Walkers, Erotic dancers, Transvestites, Spooky Magicians, Altern-8 suit give-a-ways and not to mention, an All-Out Fancy Dress competition. Ohh, and did we mention that we are also having one of our legendary DAY TIME BOAT PARTIES with NUSKOOL BREAKS along the river in Cambridge on The Georgina Boat.

We wanted to make sure that you all get something a little special for our final party of the year.So, First Stop is the Cambridge River aboard the Georgina. NU-SKOOL BREAKS will be hosting the funk fuelled pre- party from 16:00-20:00hrs showcasing an array of talent in the form of Richie Balboa, Will Streetwise, Dirty Stopoutz and DUBSTEP's hottest property HIJAK. Expect some breaks, electro,fidget and a sick selection of Dubstep for our pre-party installment.And ofcourse we always encourage daytime shenanigans.What goes on in the boat, stays on the boat!

It will then be time to hop back on to the Boogaloo party bus and make your way down to the main event.

For our last visit to Remix this year, we wanted to guarantee a line up that would make the earth move and the walls shake and who better to headline our Final 2009 Boogaloo event, than the mighty STANTON WARRIORS, along with old skool legends ALTERN-8, Kiss FMs JAY CUNNING, KEN MAC, and NME DJ ANDY THEAKSTONE (Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly). And as if that wasn’t enough to get the butterflies in your stomach a-fluttering, we also announce our very own ELECTRIC BOOGALOO TEN MINUTE MINI MIX CHALLENGE. Intrigued??? Read on…

We have hand-selected a short list of Boogaloo’s nearest and dearest DJs to provide a 10-minute mini-mix that will have the Boogaloo crowd shaking in their boots for a whole two hours! The rules are simple: Use any genre, from any era and spin as many floor-filling acapellas and dubplates as possible. Each DJ will play their 10 minute slot back to back for two uplifting hours and is guaranteed to be an almighty hit! And so, for the chosen mini_mix crew: BARRINGTON( Warning), Ian Charles, Swifty B, Crackerz and Jam,Tangy Tom, Morocco, Wayne Mcerlane, Steve Bentley, Dan XS and Adnan.

Lets not forget that its HALLOWEEN!!! Halloween = Fancy dress. Last year at the Bukem gig some of your costumes quite frankly scared the sh*t out of us. So we’ll have more of the same this year please! The theme is SCARY MOVIES!! The spookier the better. We will have a host who will be at the top of the stairs judging your costumes, with the winner receiving a Free Boogaloo Halloween Punch Bowl !!!! Also, anyone who comes dressed in an Altern-8 suit and shouts “EEEEEEEEEVAPOURATE” at our host upon entry will also receive a free shot. So get involved!
